Lauren receives an ominous gift, Mac meets with Emily, and Ryder reaches out to Eden.
Chance and Chloe arrive home. She says she doesn't want any grief about signing him out too soon. He smiles and reminds her that the doctor released him. He doesn't want anyone fussing over him. Chloe asks, "Not even me?" He smiles. She takes him upstairs to settle in bed, and suggests that they play cards. Chance wants to play for personal information. Chloe agrees, and wins the first hand. She asks Chance about his most embarrassing moment. Chance wins the next hand and asks Chloe what her perfect date would be - she says that's easy, she's having it right now. They kiss. Chloe cuddles up to him, and he kisses her head.
Lily, sitting up in her hospital bed, asks Mac if she means it - she's really going to carry their baby? Mac nods. Lily asks about Billy. Mac says they broke up.
Still alone in the bar, Billy slams back another drink and runs through memories of him and Mac in his mind. He makes some sort of decision, grabs his jacket, and heads out.
In the Club, Emily tells Jack that she is treating his ex-wife, who is still obsessed with him - plus she and said woman share the same face! Jack says he's attracted to the face, yes, but is most intrigued with what's behind it. Emily says she'll consider going out with him. Billy appears, and tells Jack that Mac broke up with him. Jack tells him to go to someone else for sympathy - he's done cleaning up his messes! Billy walks away. Paul frantically rushes up to Jack and asks about Emily. Jack says he just missed her. Paul tells Jack about Patty's threat. Jack says they have to do everything in their power to help her get better - he feels responsible, and will pay for anything. Paul thanks him.
At the coffee house, Michael is with Eden. Daisy comes in to meet her to study, and lets him know who she is - she works for Lauren. She mentions Daniel and Amber's wedding, and Michael takes off. Ryder says hello to him, but Michael just grunts. Ryder approaches Eden - he says he knows she just found out that Michael is her brother - he'd like some tips about fitting in to the Fisher/Baldwin clan. Eden tells him he hasn't given people a lot of reasons to trust him. He says if she changes her mind, she knows where to find him.
Emily arrives at the hospital and checks in on Lily. Mac is introduced as their surrogate, and Lily asks Emily to talk to Mac about the psychological aspects of it. When they leave, Lily tells Cane it's too bad that Mac had to make a personal sacrifice to do this for them.
Billy comes into Lily's hospital room and she says Cane's not there - the coast is clear. Lily tells him that it breaks her heart that the two of them broke up over the surrogacy. Billy says it's not that he doesn't want her to have a baby, he just thinks Mac is jumping into this without realizing all the implications. Lily urges him not to give up on his relationship if he truly loves Mac. Lily sends him off to find Mac to work things out.
Emily and Mac sit down in the hospital and discuss the surrogacy. Mac admits if it doesn't work she'll feel guilty, then tells Emily she had a miscarriage before. Emily is taken aback - Mac could get attached to this child. Mac tells Emily that she just broke up with her boyfriend as well. Emily muses that Mac may not be a good candidate for surrogacy after all. Mac insists that she's doing it. Emily says she might attach to the baby to make up for the loss of her relationship - she advises her to think this through carefully. Emily leaves and Cane comes by. He gives her another hug and thanks her. As he asks if she has any regrets, Billy walks out of Lily's room. He hears Mac say, "No regrets."
Cane goes back into Lily's hospital room. She's still feeling down about Mac and Billy splitting up over the surrogacy - what if it doesn't even work? Cane tells Lily not to think that way - she has to believe in her dream.
On the rooftop, Nick arrives at the wedding after getting a text from Phyllis. Daniel, overjoyed at his marriage, embraces Phyllis, saying, "I love you, Mom!" Over his shoulder, Phyllis gives a strange look to Amber, who's saying, "Yeah, Mom!" Michael then appears, and Kevin puts on a square dancing song. Murphy, inspired by the music, instructs everyone to join hands in a circle, then calls the square dance steps! Laughter and awkward partner exchanges ensue. On the table sits a large gift - the tag reads, "To Lauren." Murphy next makes a toast - everyone raises their glasses - Phyllis raises a whole bottle! Nick then makes a toast too. Daniel goes to get more champagne, and Amber follows. Kevin and Katherine chat as they dance - she invites him to come and work for her at Chancellor. Kevin is pleased. Jana grabs him to help move the presents - they notice the one for Lauren. Lauren and Michael lift the lid of the box together - they scream and jump back - it's a black rat! Nick gets it and takes it down to the alley. Everyone decides to go, telling Amber and Daniel, who have returned with more champagne that it's time for them to start their life together. Once alone, Amber and Daniel toast.
Nick and Phyllis return to the empty rooftop, where Phyllis forgot her coat. Nick tells her he's proud of her for not trying to stop Daniel and Amber's wedding. He suggests that they get a nightcap and maybe a room. She says he's successfully distracting her from thinking about Daniel marrying Amber. They leave.
In their apartment, Amber is in sexy lingerie and she and Daniel start getting amorous. Amber is delighted that Jana's prediction didn't come true - nothing bad happened!
Lauren, Jana, Kevin, and Michael all sit with Daisy in the coffee house. They discuss the ominous gift, and Daisy asks who would have sent it to Lauren. Lauren looks pointedly at Ryder, who is wiping off tables, and says she thinks she has an idea!
Billy, having had no luck with Jack or Mac, turns up at the Chancellor Estate looking for Delia. Chloe and Chance are still cuddling in his bed - she has just finished reassuring him that she's over Billy. Billy opens the door to Chance's room and sees them kissing! Chance tells him to leave. Out in the hallway, Billy encounters Katherine and a sobbing Mac, who has just told her grandmother that they broke up. Katherine suggests he just leave.
Paul meets with Emily at Crimson Lights. They discuss Jack, agreeing that Jack seems to have realized how he hurt Patty. Paul notes he's been nothing but compassionate - he thinks Jack has changed.
Emily comes back to the Club, where Jack spots her and wants to discuss Patty. She says she can't talk to him about that. Nick and Phyllis come in to get a room, and Phyllis spots them. She walks up to Jack and asks what he's doing with the woman who wants to rehabilitate the person who almost killed Summer - she thought Jack loved Summer! Jack protests and Phyllis stalks off. Jack assures Emily that he'll take care of Phyllis confronting her in public. Emily decides she'd like to date him.
