Sharon hands out candy at the door of her house. She recalls a Halloween with Cassie and the Newman family.

At the Ranch, Abby overhears Victor and Ashley discussing the fact that he's leaving Genoa City. Victor sits down with Abby and assures her he'll be back for the important events in her life. Victor asks her to be good to her mother, and to be a teacher to Faith. They embrace and Abby leaves for the coffee house. Ashley looks at Victor, who has tears in his eyes. They discuss what happened with Patty and Colleen - she says she blamed him as much as Jack and Billy did, but admits she does have some blame in their marriage ending. She remarks that she's let her fantasy go - it's sad, but also liberating. Victor would like the divorce to be as painless as possible. He informs her he'll be giving Adam a chance to redeem himself. Ashley is pleased - nearly dying has changed him.

Nikki and Victoria are at Newman. Victoria says how romantic it is that she and Victor are running off together. Nikki asks about Victoria and JT. Victoria tells her mother that she cheated on JT, and says it was a horrible, awful mistake. Vikki admits that JT knows, and he even hit him at a press conference - the whole world could find out! Nikki asks what JT has said, and Vikki admits she's avoided talking to him about it. Nikki feels they need to work through it together - she urges her to face this head on! Just then, JT appears.

Phyllis is looking at the news online at home. She reads about Deacon, Victoria, and JT. Nick comes downstairs and she shows him. He curses Billy Abbott. Phyllis says she wants to get back at Billy. Adam comes to the door with some papers for Nick to sign. Nick takes issue with him having the papers drawn up on his own accord. He warns him not to take calls that are meant for him, or try to weasel his way in to a position of power - he'll never have what belongs to him! Phyllis calls the newspaper and gives a statement disagreeing with what Billy has done in the magazine. Nick and Phyllis then decide to get ready to take Summer trick or treating. As Nick takes pictures of Summer dressed as a princess, the phone rings. Nick says, "No comment." He wonders why Victoria hasn't returned his calls.

Billy is with Mac at Jimmy's Bar. He is on the phone telling someone that his online article will be huge. Jack comes in and announces that Billy has spit in his face one too many times! It turns out he's upset that Billy added Patty into the Victor article. Jack angrily reminds him that he's been his lifeline in the past, and forgave him for sleeping with his wife! Billy tells him it's about Colleen - not him. Jack warns him he's crossed the line - he's good for nothing - he's through with him! Jack tells him he hopes his record sales are worth it, then storms out!

After Billy has donned his football costume, and Mac has her genie costume on, he asks her not to bring up the negative stuff with Jack. Chloe arrives with Delia, who is dressed as a football! Kevin walks in, and Billy comments that he must have left his mascot head at the dry cleaners. Kevin remarks that he's there to see Mac - neither he nor Jana would attend a party thrown by Billy. Mac asks Kevin to go easy - she loves Billy. Kevin says obviously none of his advice sunk in. Mac feels Billy will do something good with the magazine next - she trusts him. Delia goes home, and Billy asks Chloe why she's there - she says to support him, but he wonders if it's just because Chance is on duty. Billy gets into it with Kevin again, pointing out that he's eating his snacks like a chipmunk. Mac gets in between them.

When the Ranch doorbell rings, Ashley lets Jack into the house - he says they need to talk. Victor stands up and asks what he's doing there. Jack says he's visiting his sister at her home. Victor goes to check on Faith. Ashley tells Jack that just because she's being nice to Victor doesn't mean she's going back with him - he's with Nikki. Victor reappears with Abby's cellphone. Ashley leaves to take it to her. Jack remarks that he heard Victor's leaving town - wasn't he going to say goodbye? Victor says he's waited to say goodbye to him for years! They get into a bickering match over which of them has one-upped the other more times over the years.

Sharon's doorbell rings. She jumps at the sight of a grown man in a mask - it's Adam! She invites him in for a glass of wine and they agree on how much they love Halloween. When he remembers Hope's gags, like having kids put their hands in a bowl of eyeballs, Sharon suggests they try it! They laugh as they make the concoctions. She asks about his eyesight, and he says he always wonders when it will go.

Nikki leaves the office at Newman, and Victoria tells JT they should talk about their relationship - and Deacon. JT thinks he showed up at Newman because he wants her. Vikki disagrees. JT asks if she did it because he kissed Colleen. She doesn't know, but asks if he wants to work things out. Suddenly, Deacon walks in. He shows them the piece that Billy wrote. JT accuses him of selling Vikki out. Deacon says Billy took what he had and ran with it! Deacon and Victoria both leave, and JT writes Vikki a note, saying he's taking the job in New York.

Ashley arrives at Crimson Lights looking for Abby. Nikki is there. She asks Ashley if Victor has been to the Ranch. Ashley says he has, and tells her it's alright to be happy that they're back together. Nikki says she'll always be grateful for her bringing Victor back to them. Ashley says she has no regrets, but admits she doesn't understand why Nikki wants him back after everything he's done. Ashley looks around for Abby, but can't find her.

Nikki arrives at the Ranch looking for Victor just as Jack admits how great it was to set him up. Nikki tells Victor they need to go, but Victor wants to finish - Jack's just confessing his sins! Jack talks about how much he enjoyed making up the diary. When he learns that Nikki is leaving with Victor, he sneers that she let Paul go - a man who would have put her first. Victor tells Jack that he knows he enjoyed betraying him - and he'll get even with him! Jack hisses at Victor that this may be over for him, but not for Patty! Nikki begs them to stop this. Victor tells Jack if he thinks what he did with Patty was all he has coming - he ain't seen nothin' yet!

Abby, dressed in a costume, meets up with a girl named Daisy, who gives her tips on getting into the Halloween party at Jimmy's with her fake ID - they go up to the door and are admitted! They go inside just in time to see Victoria stride up behind Billy and deck him!

Nick and Phyllis arrive with Summer at Sharon's door. When the door opens, Nick is stunned to see Adam handing out the candy!
