Chance and Chloe have their date, Gloria plots against Kevin, and Daniel turns on Amber!
Phyllis and Nick are at home. Summer comes downstairs and greets her father, but she is unable to say to him what she practiced on the plane. He tells her it's okay. When they are alone again, Phyllis tells Nick she is puzzled about Summer clamming up - she made so much progress at the clinic. Phyllis tells Nick that Jack told her why Sharon lied about the paternity. Nick says she knew they had to be strong together. Phyllis thinks she should apologize to Sharon for misjudging her.
In her room, Sharon looks at a photo of the house she was going to buy with Nick. She gets teary-eyed. She picks up some baby clothes, and thinks back to when she and Nick chose the house and talked about naming the baby Faith. She takes the picture of the house and tears it up.
In the Chancellor living room, Esther is dusting and telling Chloe that it's not right to use Chance to make Billy jealous. The doorbell rings - it's Chance. Esther invites him in and beams, telling Chloe how sweet it is that he came to the front door of his own house so it would be like a real date!
In Deacon's room, Gloria tells him she is very close to getting the painting from her son. She says it will be in his hands tonight - and he will have five million dollars in cash for her!
At Crimson Lights, Daniel, Amber, and Kevin debate what to do with the painting. Daniel wants to give it to Deacon, but Kevin would like to get the reward from the museum and pay for Ryder's defense! Bickering ensues, until Michael shows up. He hisses at them that they could get killed - the painting needs to be given to the proper authorities. Gloria walks in, saying the painting belongs to her. Michael informs them all that when the authorities catch up to them with a stolen painting he will not be their lawyer! Amber takes Daniel aside and says they should get money from Deacon. He tells her he will handle this - she isn't to go near Deacon! Amber stalks off angrily, assuming he doesn't trust her. Gloria bickers with Kevin about the painting, but Michael intervenes. He sends Glo for drinks, then confronts Kevin about helping Ryder - Kevin won't be deterred. Lauren comes in asking Michael why he's been so long - they have to pick up Summer and Phyllis! Kevin says it's important. Lauren shakes her head. As Kevin asks Michael to aid in contacting the police and museum, Gloria eavesdrops!
Chloe and Chance are walking around the Harvest Festival. Chloe is more than a little out of her element. Chance tells her to embrace her inner square dancer! She replies that she's going to kick his butt at apple-bobbing! As it turns out, she gets right into the game and becomes soaked! Chance places a cheddar cheese wedge on her head and tells her she looks hot!
Nick is alone with Summer, cuddling on the couch. He asks her to try and say something, but again she remains silent. He tells her he knows it was a big trip home, and says he loves her. Michael and Lauren arrive at the tack house and Nick tells them to go ahead and take Summer - he'll have Phyllis meet them. Michael asks where she is - Nick tells them she has gone to see Sharon, and fills them in on the baby. Summer gets downstairs, and Nick is thrilled when she says, "I love you," before she leaves!
Daniel, Kevin, and Gloria confer in the coffee house. Daniel wants a few hours to figure out what to do about Deacon - he leaves. Gloria immediately starts working on Kevin, saying she needs the money more than his jailbird half-brother! Kevin tells her to forget it - the painting is going to the museum! Gloria talks Kevin into trying to find the painting where Amber has hidden it.
Amber arrives at Deacon's room. He taunts her about Daniel's lack of money and small apartment. He says he has something for her - it's her wedding gift. He proudly presents her with a diamond necklace. She pronounces it 'gaudy'. He urges her to just try it on - she does. He caresses her shoulders as they look in the mirror. Daniel arrives at the door wanting to set up a time and place - he is shocked to see Amber. Deacon says she's trying on her wedding gift! Daniel tells Amber to remove the necklace and walk out of the room immediately - or it's over! When Amber hesitates, Daniel says he's got his answer. He tells Deacon he can have her, and announces he's keeping the painting - Deacon can frame him all he wants!
Phyllis knocks at Sharon's door at the Club. Sharon answers and Phyllis says she just wants to talk to her. Sharon reluctantly lets her in. Phyllis tells Sharon that in the hospital, she prayed for God to take her instead of Summer - she can't imagine what she's going through. Phyllis says she doesn't know if she would have been able to do the same thing Sharon did if she was in her shoes. Sharon replies that it's over. Phyllis tells her she misjudged her. Sharon wonders if regret is all she's feeling right now - isn't she a bit relieved? Phyllis denies feeling anything but sadness - the baby belonged to the man she loves, and was the sister of Noah and Summer. She tells Sharon she knows their history, but doesn't wish losing a baby on anyone - least of all her. Sharon thanks Phyllis for coming by. Phyllis reiterates that she'll always be grateful for what Sharon did for Summer, telling her to call if she can do anything for her.
Alone at the coffee house, Kevin has the painting. He hides it in the frame of an existing print on the wall of Crimson Lights and hangs it back up. When he leaves, Gloria sneaks in and gets the Terroni!
At the door of the Chancellor Estate, Chance tells Chloe he had a lot of fun with her. She obviously did as well - they kiss. They move into the living room and things get more intense. Chance pulls back and says things are going a bit fast. Chloe quickly blurts, "Not fast enough for me!" He laughs, and says she's still married. He tells her again that he had fun, and hopes they can do it again soon. After a goodnight kiss, he leaves the room. Chloe makes a face.

Ashley tells Nikki she wants to clear the air about that night of the storm. Nikki agrees, saying, "Let's get it all out in the open."
Sharon tells Adam that she hasn't heard from the funeral home. He asks, "Funeral home?" She says, "The ashes."
