Gloria takes Deacon's offer, Katherine wonders what is going on with Jill, and Nina faces off with her son over Chloe!

Lauren tells Michael, in the Club dining room, about Fen wanting to go see the ducks while they were in Toronto visiting Scott. He shares that he hasn't done any lawyering for his family while she was away, and they laugh at his injury from riding bikes with Eden. They are discussing Colleen when Jeffrey appears. Michael has some unpaid bills of his and asks what is going on? Jeffrey bluffs an explanation, and Lauren says that strangely, Jill said that he and Gloria are broke! Jeff scoffs. They notice the ink on his skin and think he robbed a bank! He says he'll tell the truth - they're broke, it's true.

Gloria is on the patio of the coffee house when Deacon comes in. He gets her interest by saying that by this time tomorrow he'll be one of her favorite people - he's going to make her a very wealthy woman! Talk turns to the painting, and Gloria tells Deacon that Tom never had it - it's all a scam. Deacon says that Ryder knows where Tom kept it. When he tells her, she says she doesn't have a key. Deacon says she just needs her identification - the painting is just sitting there waiting for her - and he has a buyer! He warns she'll have to act fast - the Feds are bound to get a search warrant for that box if they hear of this! Gloria's in - Tom owes her!

Inside the coffee house, Amber spots Deacon outside and warns Daniel that he's there. Kevin and Jana agree with Daniel that Deacon wouldn't have gone to all of this trouble if the painting wasn't in the deposit box. Kevin pulls out a black hat he got for Amber to wear, and then she settles down to practice writing Gloria's signature. Daniel gets plane tickets online while Kevin tells him he understands why Daniel took the key. Daniel asks what he's going to do about Ryder - Kevin says they need to deal with this first - he'll deal with him later. Daniel goes over and signs Gloria's signature perfectly - they all look at him and say he can be Gloria!

Phillip, Jill, Chance, Chloe, and Nina are with Katherine, Murphy and Esther on the terrace of the Chancellor Estate. Katherine says she got them together to tell them how much they all mean to her, and how great it is that they're all together. She urges them to make the most of the time they have. Chloe and Chance move away from the group with the baby, and Nina watches. She suggests that Phillip go and talk to Chance. Chloe tells Chance that Nina is glaring daggers - he says she's just overprotective. When Jill makes a dig at Esther's maid uniform, Katherine acknowledges to Murphy that they're not the Waltons! Esther takes Chloe aside and warns that Chance is falling for her. She says they're just having fun - he'll find a great girl for him someday. Phillip corners Murphy, and asks him how he adjusted to this family. Murphy says he was welcomed with open arms. Phillip still feels like an outsider, but Murphy says it's nothing the family is doing. Katherine and Jill discuss Colleen. Kay says it's not a time to hold grudges. When she mentions the tax money, however, Jill gets her back up.

Lauren and Michael come into Crimson Lights as the foursome are heading out to catch their plane. Michael is suspicious, and asks Kevin about Gloria being broke. Kevin says to ask her himself. Amber, Kevin, Jana, and Daniel leave and Gloria comes in from the patio announcing to Michael that she's broke - no big deal! She tells Michael that she has great prospects. Michael wonders if they include plans that give her ink splotches on her skin. Gloria insists that she's fine and turns down an offer of money from her son.

Still on the Chancellor patio, Nina tries to convince Phillip that Chloe is playing Chance. Phillip feels that he made it out of Iraq - he's bound to survive some harmless flirting! Just then, Katherine approaches and asks Nina about the screenplay. Nina says she'll focus on the conflict between her and Jill. Jill hears, and starts ranting about how they all want to tear into her. She writes a check for the tax money and storms out. Kay says that they know now that money isn't her problem, but Murphy tells Katherine that Jill didn't sign the check! Nina walks over to Chloe and Chance and makes a remark that implies that Chloe isn't smart. Chance takes his mother aside and says that she needs to just butt out! Phillip intervenes, saying that Chance is smart and self-assured - the worst thing that could happen is he gets his heart broken. Nina hisses that the worst thing would be if Chloe became her daughter-in-law! Murphy goes over to Chloe and tries to make her feel better about Nina, but also lets her know that he thinks she's using Chance - and he really cares about her.

Jill walks into Crimson Lights and asks Gloria if she wants to carpool - Gloria tells her she's got an errand to run - and her minimum wage days will soon be over! Jill leaves and Katherine comes in - Gloria tells Kay where to find Jill. Jeffrey is the next through the door. He hisses at Gloria that the truth is out. Gloria heads back over to Deacon, who tells her that the bank she needs to go to is Erie Federal. As Gloria dashes off, Jeffrey, who has overheard, stands looking thoughtful. He walks over to Lauren and Michael and asks why Gloria is going to Erie Federal Bank! Michael says he doesn't want to know - it's her life. Jeff stalks off, and Lauren mentions that Kevin is also gone to Detroit. They look at one another, and Lauren says, "It's their problem - not our problem!" Sighing, they realize they'll have to go to Detroit.

At the bank in Detroit, Kevin presents Amber (in disguise) as his grieving mother who is looking to open the safety deposit box. As Jana and Daniel look on, the manager asks Amber to take off her sunglasses, noting that she looks younger than the photo he has. Amber says she's had work done. When Amber writes Gloria's signature, the manager won't accept it! Jana and Kevin create a distraction for the bank manager, and Daniel rushes over to sign Gloria's signature. When the manager returns to Amber she says she signed again. He lets her and Kevin in to open the box. Just then, the real Gloria strolls into the bank!

While Phillip takes Nina inside the Chancellor Estate to ask her to ease up on Chance and Chloe, Chance goes over to Chloe and presents her with t-shirts from the GCPD for her and Delia. Chance goes to talk to Phillip, and Esther comes over to check out Delia's shirt - she tells Chloe that he's obviously into her. Chance thanks Phillip for running interference with Nina, and then tells his father that he would like him to stay in Genoa City!

At the beauty salon, Jill gets a visit from Jeff who wants to know where Gloria is at? The boss says that she called and quit. Jeff says she must be onto something - Jill notes that she still wants her cut. Jeff leaves, and Katherine comes in. She tells Jill she wants a manicure - and wants her to sign the check she wrote!
