The Young and the Restless will not air today as CBS will be airing the US Open Tennis. Y&R will return with a new episode on Tuesday September 8.

Today, September 7, ABC will air the US Open Tennis.

I love the Nick, Sharon, and Phyllis story but what I can't stand about it is everyone always looks at the women as the homewreckers, nobody ever says anything about Nick jumping in and outta bed with both of them, or playing them for fools, It's time Nick suffer some consequences, who would he chase after if both Phyllis and Sharon pushed him away, huh??

I am so tired of our soaps being pre-emptied because of a Sporting Event.
A lot of people do not work on Holidays and would be nice if they had something to watch.

So are you saying that Colleen is leaving the show? Plueeeeeezzzz!!!! NOOOOOOO!!! She is the only one on the show with good sense to stand up to Victor & Victoria!! & why not have her leave for awhile - not die!!! Why not kill Gloria off instead of colleen?

I REALLY MISSED VIEWING Y&R TODAY (holiday)! The "Rant" on Paul is so true, what a great performance and storyline for this actor this past year! I hope we can look forward to seeing some "dynamite" female get involved with him...possibly new on the scene? Nikki, you screwed up...you and Victor may still have deep feeling but have tried it too many times and it just doesn't work 24/7.
I don't give a hoot about the storyline with Kevin and this supposed brother (you know DNA's in GC are NOT reliable).
The preview video showing MJ/Patty shooting someone is very interesting---please don't be brother Paul! Victor deserves the bullet this time. Surely cute little Collene will not die in that water/lake?!! Not liking that thought; TJ come to the rescue!! And just where does Patty get a gun anyway?? Glo and Jeff are an interesting/exciting pair but how long can they keep going without Victor paying them the money he owes them? The Deacon and Amber storyline has gotten "cold". The only S/L that heats it up is when lonley Victoria goes to see Deacon.

I agree - pre-empt the tennis or whatever sports is at that time. They can run it later at night. Or at least have Y & R later after tennis. They are just running a repeat of Dr. Phil - pre-empt him. Duh!! that would make too much sense.

I've missed most of the Y/R yesterday afternoon because I was still asleep and I saw the part where Jeffery and Gloria
had opened the brief cases full of money brought by Victor
and Jack.
It made me laugh very hard when Jeffery and Gloria wore try
ing to touch the cash and it had a boobie trap and it exploded right into their faces some blue stuff and wow! did
they ever look very funny with all that blue stuff all over their faces and their clothes.
I'm hoping for Patty to just release Colleen Carlton and just find herself a hiding spot only Paul would know where she located at.

i have digital cable .channel5 has not been working for two days but at 7pm y&r comes on soap net work
