Victor learns something about Adam, Lily sneaks out, and Billy and Mac argue!
At Jimmy's, Billy doesn't find Mac there, so he calls and leaves her a message - he wants to hook up today. He says he's heading to the trailer and will hopefully see her there!
At the trailer, Mac is with Cane, filling him in on Lily's reaction to the movies. Mac tells him that Lily is scheduled for surgery today - it's ovarian cancer. Cane worries that this will mean Lily can't have kids. Mac says it might, and promises to keep him updated. Mac tells him she realizes he didn't mean to hurt anyone, she also says she hasn't told Billy he's at the trailer yet.
Olivia joins Lily in her room. She tells Lily, Neil, and Devon that she pulled some strings to get a leading oncologist to come to GC! She gives Lily the papers to sign, but Lily refuses to sign them! She insists that she needs to harvest her eggs first, but Liv tells her that could make the cancer worse! Neil and Devon try to reason with Lily, but she will not change her mind! Devon tells Lily she can adopt - look at him! Liv says the doctor will only be in town one day. Neil presses her to reconsider. When they leave the room, Lily gets out of bed and sneaks out with her things!
Sharon and Jack are at the coffee house ordering takeout when they notice the news story about Victor's reward for Mary Jane on the television. Jack explains to Sharon that they think Mary Jane was the one behind what happened to Summer. He says he was that last one to see her - here at Crimson Lights - but he figures she ran. Jack wants to focus on Sharon and the baby now. He hugs her, and Mary Jane, who is watching from outside the window, begins to cry!
At the Ranch, Victor reports to Adam and Heather that there are some very bizarre claims of Mary Jane sightings coming in. Heather says the amount of money brings out the crazies. As Victor goes to answer the door, Adam tells Heather that the timing was perfect for him - he no longer has to leave the house! They head upstairs, and Victor lets Nikki into the house. He recounts the events of yesterday, including Adam's heroic chase. Nikki says Adam is the reason she's there - he's been hiding something! Nikki tells him that Adam is gay - she saw him kiss Rafe! Victor thanks her for telling him - he'll handle it.
In the alleyway, a dirty and disheveled Mary Jane eats from a takeout bag in the trash, and then discovers an abandoned, filthy baby doll! She holds the lifelike doll and looks thoughtful.
Back at Sharon's room, Jack tells Sharon that he'll change his meeting at Jabot to go to the doctor with her. Sharon remarks that the baby is lucky, and notes how happy he seems! Jack confirms it. When Jack goes to get her frozen yogurt, Sharon tells the baby how sweet Jack is - this is best for everyone. Jack returns with the yogurt and discovers a box outside Sharon's door - to his shock he lifts out the filthy baby doll - the eyes are gouged out! He goes inside and tentatively asks Sharon if she had any visitors. He then launches into a plea for her to move back in with him. She says no, but Jack presses the idea - he wants to protect her. Sharon angrily says, "Protect me against what?!" Jack thinks fast and says, "Bed bugs." Sharon sighs and promises that she will call if she needs anything. Jack leaves and stops the head housekeeper, asking her to book him the empty room near Sharon's - discreetly.
Billy arrives at the trailer and finds Cane there! Billy asks what he's doing there, and Cane tries to protect Mac by saying he thought the trailer would be empty from Murphy moving out. Billy says he realizes Mac brought him there. Cane explains that he still loves Lily and wants to be around for her, but Billy suggests he leave town, and orders him out of the trailer!
In bed in Adam's room, Heather and Adam discuss the future. He says for the first time he can see a light out of here - this is only temporary. They start making love again. Afterward, they declare their love and Heather leaves. On her way out, Heather meets Rafe in the hallway. Rafe goes into Adam's room, where Adam says he wasn't expecting him. Rafe says, "Obviously. I just saw Heather leave." Adam says they need to talk. Rafe asks, "You're breaking up with me?" Adam says he's not gay. Rafe at first says he's in denial, but then blurts that Adam played him! Rafe tells him if he keeps playing games with peoples' lives it's going to blow up in his face!
Back at Jimmy's, Billy finally finds Mac and confronts her about hiding Cane there. He confirms that he kicked him out. Mac tells him to calm down, but Billy yells at her for lying to him. He asks what's with her and taking in strays. She says it's who she is, and if he doesn't like it, maybe they shouldn't be together. Billy insists that Cane is a con artist who is conning her and she can't even see it. She angrily leaves the bar.
Mary Jane is back in the alley, calling out for Kitty. She says she needs him - to help her figure out what to do! Suddenly, Mac appears. She asks what's wrong, and Mary Jane says she lost her kitty. Mac wants to take her for something to eat - or to get some milk for her cat. Mary Jane agrees.
At the hospital, Tyra asks Neil and Olivia how Lily is doing. They tell her about the situation. Tyra says she'll go talk to her. She goes in, then hollers, "She's not here!" They look all over and Liv exclaims that they have to find her soon - this really is a matter of life and death!
Lily arrives at Jimmy's, where Billy asks her, "Aren't you supposed to be on an operating table right now?" Lily says it means she might not be able to have kids. She asks Billy if he knows where Cane is - she needs him. Billy clears his throat and says that Cane is still in town. He promises to find him. Suddenly, Cane walks into the bar. Lily and Cane run into each other's arms!
Heather arrives at the coffee house and says hello to Nikki. They sit down and Nikki says she feels that she should warn her about Adam. Heather gets very defensive. Nikki says she doesn't want to see her get her heart broken. She leaves, and Rafe comes in. He also tells Heather that Adam is bad news!
Victor comes into Adam's room and tells him it's over - he knows what he's been hiding. Adam asks what he thinks he knows. Victor says, "You're gay." He explains that Nikki saw him and Rafe - it's okay, he can stop pretending - he'll always be his son - no matter what!
