Kevin breaks the law, Mac makes a declaration, and Katherine is rushed to the hospital!
Michael arrives to meet Jana and Amber at the hearing. He tells her he is going to try and get both her and Daniel's cases dropped. Heather and Aucker arrive and exchange terse words with Michael before heading into the courtroom. As Michael is about to follow, Amber blurts that she thinks this all might be connected to her somehow! She tells Michael about the website and how she dealt with some people that weren't very nice. Michael says he'll need specifics - and she'll have to bring everything out in the open to Daniel!
At Crimson Lights, Kevin is preparing to leave for Jana's hearing and is surprised to see Daniel. Kevin asks why he's not at the hearing. Daniel tells Kevin that he lost track of time trying to cheer Phyllis up, but then he wants to discuss stealing the dead man's cell phone - he thinks today would be a good day for it. Kevin says the place will be crawling with armed guards - he doesn't want to jeopardize Jana's chance at bail either. He tells Daniel that he'll have to do it himself - one more arrest and he's toast!
Neil leaves Tyra's house, giving her a kiss as he goes. After she closes the door, Tyra hears a noise behind her - Devon and Roxanne are just getting out of bed! Roxanne exclaims, "Oh, awkward!" Roxanne makes a hasty exit, and Devon and Tyra begin to argue. He tells her that she's dreaming if she thinks Neil is taking her seriously. Tyra actually thinks that they might move in together! Devon scoffs at the idea, saying she's in for a big letdown! Tyra asks what his problem with her is - she gave up a lot to raise Ana, and this thing with Neil is making her starry-eyed, but he can't tell her that Neil doesn't care about her. Devon says he'll never love her the way he loved Dru! He tells Tyra that she's just his rebound from Karen! Tyra shouts at him to get out. He leaves. Tyra picks up the phone and says, "I really need to talk to you."
At the Chancellor Mansion, Jill rails at Katherine, who isn't feeling well. She asks her why she hates her so much?! Jill hollers that she switched her babies and now she's accusing her son of being a liar! Jill continues to holler as Neil comes in. As Katherine is sinking to the couch, Neil asks Jill what's wrong with her - can't she see that something is very wrong with Kay?!
Billy finds Mac outside by the pool and tells her that he came to inform her that he's giving up - no more pushing for them to be together! He tells her that he can't change - the only thing he can do is stop driving her crazy. Billy says she deserves better than him. Mac agrees that it's probably for the best. Suddenly, Murphy emerges from the house calling for Mackenzie - something is wrong with Katherine - they need her help!
Mackenzie and Billy rush inside with Murphy and Mac asks Katherine some questions. Kay can't talk. Neil looks at Jill as she asks if she did this to her?! Murphy wonders what she means. Jill says she was yelling at her! Mackenzie says they need to get her to the hospital. They all move to the door.
Kevin arrives at the courthouse to find a shell-shocked Amber. She explains that she just told Michael about her possible connection, but that she'll have to let Daniel know things about her past that are unsavory. Kevin asks if she'd rather risk being judged - or save Daniel?
At the hospital, Katherine has improved, and Murphy tells her she shouldn't let Jill get to her that way! Billy asks Olivia how bad it was - she says it's just a good thing they got her to the hospital quickly. Mac asks Billy if he's alright. He's a bit choked up and needs to get out of there. Olivia goes to tell Katherine that she had a mini-stroke - they'll need to keep her overnight. Kay asks someone to call Jill and tell her the bad news - she's going to live! Mac shares a moment with Kay, saying she was worried. Katherine says she's not going anywhere!
Back at the Chancellor Mansion, Neil asks Jill why she isn't at the hospital with Katherine - it's plain that she still loves her! He tells her this is her chance to avoid another big regret!
Billy goes to the hospital chapel asks for God to help his grandmother through this - he loves her very much. Billy says that when he lost Mac on their wedding night, he put up a wall, until Delia came along. Mac is standing at the back of the room listening as Billy tells God that he just walked away from Mac a second time, and wishes her happiness. Billy realizes she's there and asks how much she heard - she heard enough to know the man she loves is still here. She tells him she loves him - she always has - and she wants to be with him. They kiss.
Inside the courtroom, the judge grants Jana bail, but asks where Daniel Romalotti is?! Kevin heads out and tells Daniel, who is standing with Amber, to get in there - the judge is ticked off! Amber tells Kevin she didn't have a chance to tell Daniel anything yet. They go in and listen as Michael tries to paint Daniel as a victim. The judge says the charges against him will stand and a trial date set! Heather snarks, "You win some, you lose some!" Amber attempts to talk to Daniel again, but he rushes away to speak with Michael. Amber tells Kevin she just wants Daniel to be out of this mess and free - the way Kevin is!
Jill arrives at the hospital and asks Olivia for information. Liv can only tell her that Kay is awake. Jill listens outside the door as Katherine relates to Murphy that Jill called her terrible names and probably caused this - she even says she's glad that that witch isn't her daughter! As Jill walks off, she doesn't hear Murphy saying that it's just the upset talking - she'd be glad to have her back as a daughter, and Katherine telling him that he's right!
Roxanne and Devon sit on the patio at the coffee house. She doesn't understand why he's so upset with Tyra. He admits that it really doesn't make much sense!
Neil arrives at Tyra's place, where she tells him that she's had a big argument with Devon. Tyra suggests that she and Ana move in with him - permanently. Neil says he's not ready to take things to that level. Neil explains that after his experience with Karen, he needs to take things slow. Tyra realizes that he may never get to that point with her and starts to cry.
Daniel and Amber are back at Crimson Lights. He expresses how happy he is that his bail wasn't revoked. Amber decides not to tell him anything about her possible connection for the time being.
At the courthouse, the last bailiff is taking the box of evidence out to lock it back up when the lights go out! Someone knocks the box out of his arms. Kevin runs out of the courthouse stuffing the cell phone in his jacket pocket!
