Nikki receives a visitor overseas, Nick gets a call from France, and Jill prepares to oust Katherine!
In Crimson Lights, Heather gets a head up on the phone that excerpts from a diary of Victor's are going to be printed in a magazine. She excitedly tells Adam, who pretends to be floored at the news. Heather rushes out and Adam calls Jack.
At the Abbott Mansion, Jack looks at his phone, and seeing it's Adam, ignores it. Sharon wonders why he's screening calls. Jack sighs and says he doesn't want things to be this way between them. She offers him another chance to tell the truth about what him and Adam were up to together. He lies again and she begins to walk out. Jack stops her, saying, "Sharon. Wait."
Katherine runs into Nicholas at Crimson Lights. She asks him what is going on with Nikki, since she hasn't returned some of her calls, and was vague about what is happening with Victor. Nick says it's to the point where they don't know if they'll see him again! Katherine tells Nick it seems like an exercise in self-destruction on Nikki's part. Nick mumbles something about family. Just then, Jill calls Kay and asks to see her.
In her office at Jabot, Jill has just discovered that Katherine set up a meeting to acquire a telecom company that she herself had decided not to pursue. She shakes her head, and after calling Katherine to come over to Jabot to see her, she gets in touch with the company lawyer and asks him to draw up a petition - immediately! Soon, Katherine arrives and she and Jill have it out. Jill has scheduled an appointment for her with the Chief of Neurology at the hospital. Jill then shows her the legal petition to remove her of her duties in any managerial capacity at Chancellor Industries, telling her that if she refuses the appointment, she will take the paper to the board! Katherine says, "How dare you try to have me removed from my own company!" She accuses her of having her own motives, and Jill rolls her eyes. She contends that there is something very wrong with her - she thought Philip was alive and he's been dead for three decades! Jill begs her to allow the tests to be done. Kay claps her hands and compliments Jill on a great performance. She says again that she can see right through her - she's not sincere. Katherine informs her that her petition will do her no good, because she'll fight her! Jill tells her that she is the bravest person she knows, and she must be terrified to realize that she is losing her faculties. Jill worries that unscrupulous people will try to take advantage of her if word leaks out - look at what Gloria was trying to do! Katherine tells her flat out that if she goes to the stockholders with the petition, her days with this company will be over! When Kay leaves her office, Jill picks up the phone and says that her mother won't cooperate. "We're going to have to force her out."
On the other side of the Atlantic, Nikki is on the phone telling someone that the reason she needs to see them is very important - otherwise she wouldn't have flown all the way there! As she gets off the phone, she stands by the window in the room and says out loud, "Please come. Please don't let us down." She then thinks back to all of the cruel words Victor has said to her since Sabrina died. Tears come to her eyes as she says, "It didn't work, Victor. I still refuse to give up on you."
In the church in France, Victor continues to pray until the Father comes in and asks him to join him for something to eat. Victor tells him he prefers to be by himself right now. Victor says some more prayers then asks God if he's going to help him out of this depression. "I feel so alone."
Sharon pays Heather a visit in her office. She says she just found out she's investigating Victor - she tells her she can't imagine him murdering anyone. She then says that Victor isn't the reason she came to see her. "Your boyfriend and my husband have been spending a lot of time together and I'm wondering if you know what that's about!" Sharon tells her that it's only been in the past few days that she has seen Adam in her living room. She asks Heather how long she has known about it. In the end, they agree that they both got the same story - Jack is helping Adam, but both find it strange. Just then, a messenger comes in with a manila envelope with 'Victor Newman' written on it. Sharon narrows her eyes in suspicion. Heather dismisses Sharon, but she stalls by asking to use her phone before she leaves. When Heather has left the office, Sharon picks up the desk phone and pretends to be Heather, asking her secretary to bring another copy of the Victor document and leave it on the filing cabinet. She waits for awhile outside Heather's office, then sneaks back in and takes the copies off of the filing cabinet and puts them in her purse!
Jack gets a visit from Adam at home, who tells him that Heather says a magazine is going to publish excerpts from the diary. Jack says that's good - it means someone has authenticated it. "I hope the magazine flies off of the shelves!" Adam asks what happens if the Feds find out it's a fake. Jack says no one would print them without fully authenticating them first. He also urges Adam to stay calm and no one will ever know he had anything to do with it!
The catholic priest sits in his office and calls Nick. He tells him that a man came to his parish and he has reason to believe that he may be his father. Nick asks if he is alright. The priest says that he cannot betray Victor's confidence, but he is very tormented and the priest says he is gravely concerned about his welfare - that's why he felt compelled to contact a family member. Nick thanks him profusely and writes down the location of the parish. The priest hangs up and goes back out to see Victor, who confides in him the guilt he has about the decisions he made on the night Sabrina died. The priest tells him it was God's will, but Victor questions how God could do such a thing! The priest tells him that in time, he will find the solace he seeks. After the priest leaves the room, Victor makes preparations to leave.
Nick calls Nikki and tells her what the catholic priest said about Victor. He is stunned when she says she will not be going to France herself. "There is only one person I can think of that might be able to get through to him now!" After she hangs up with her son, Nikki opens the door to her room and Ashley Abbott is standing there. Nikki says, "Ashley! I'm so glad you came!"
Marge is in a bar again, and calls Katherine, telling her she needs her help to get clean. Katherine promises her that she'll have her help!
Adam heads down to Crimson Lights and Heather comes in to meet with one of the Feds. Adam approaches her and she tells him that Sharon Abbott paid her a visit. She wonders why he is still hanging around with Jack. Adam feeds her a line, and she tells him for someone so educated he can be a bit dim - Jack can't be trusted! She goes to leave in anger and he stops her, saying that he never meant to alienate her! She tells him to clean up his act and get a job and maybe they'll have something to talk about! Jack shows up and he and Adam share an indulgent moment savoring what everyone will think when they read 'Victor's diary'!
Heather returns to her office and tells a colleague that they will be issuing an arrest warrant for Victor on murder charges. With what they have in these diary excerpts they can't miss!
Sharon brings the copies of the diary excerpts to Nick and they read them together in his office. They are stunned by the apparent admission of guilt in Walter Palin's murder!

Oh, I forgot this is Soap Opera land......
How did the priest know to call Nick about Victor being there? Victor didn't tell the priest who he was or where he was from unless, he told in during the confessional. The priest can reveal Victor's wherabouts but can't tell Nick if he is okay or not. He said that he "cannot betray Victor's confidence," Hummmm.....seems like he already did. Why Call
