Marge hits rock bottom, Nikki hatches another plan, and Phyllis spies Sharon with Brad!
Nikki arrives at Newman Enterprises and catches up with Vikki and Reed in the break room. J.T. comes in and announces that all three houses at the Ranch were bugged! Victoria laments that now they're back to square one. Nikki insists she'll find another way to help Victor.
Nick gets home from his trip and is greeted enthusiastically by Phyllis. They share a wry laugh about Summer blurting out to Heather that they had found the bugs. Nick notices the form for Noah's trip on the table and asks what it is. Phyllis says that Sharon brought that over - he forgot to sign it when he stopped in on his way to the airport! She tells her husband that it was weird to find out from the A.D.A. that he had gone to see Sharon. Nick says it was just about Noah - no big deal! Just then, Sharon comes to the door. Phyllis answers and Sharon says, "Is Nick here?" Nick greets his ex and they leave Phyllis standing by the door as they sit down. Nick fills Sharon in on his trip to Buenos Aires. He tells her she should be in the loop because of Noah. Sharon asks Phyllis if she knew about all this, and Phyllis blurts, "Yes, I did. I'm family." Once Sharon leaves, Phyllis asks why he told his ex about his plan. Nick says he trusts her, and Phyllis replies, "That makes one of us." As they discuss her insecurity, she tells him that she couldn't talk to him about these feelings because she felt stupid for letting Heather put ideas in her head. Nick reassures her of how much he loves her - he says he would never want to cause another woman pain ever again - least of all her. He promises he'll always be faithful to her, and they kiss. Summer wakes up and Phyllis says she'll take her to preschool and catch up with him later.
Amber rushes into Crimson Lights where Katherine is waiting for her. Kay tells an excited Amber that her friend in the publishing business has decided to option her memoirs. Katherine says she still needs to add more about Jill! Amber says she can't believe some of the stuff Jill did to her - like having cases of vodka delivered to her home when she was trying to beat alcoholism! Kay tells her the biggest hook is that after all she and Jill went through together - they turned out to be mother and daughter! Amber notes that Hollywood may come a knockin'! Katherine then thinks back to her recent meeting with Marge, telling Amber that there may be a few people she chooses to protect, but she's undecided. When Amber goes for coffee, Kay picks up her cell phone and leaves Marge a message to please call her back. Amber returns and says she seems worried about something. She asks if she needs to talk. Katherine tells her that she is concerned about a friend of hers who has a drinking problem.
Heather has called Brad and Jill together at Jabot. As they get in the same room, the bickering inevitably starts, but Heather tells them to save it - she has made progress in the case and they both need to hear about it! Brad says he thinks he should call his attorney, but Heather stops him by telling him that in light of the fact that David and Walter Palin are both dead, the case against him has been dropped! She returns his passport. Heather gives them a little lecture about aiding and abetting David's gambling problem and how wrong that was, and then leaves. Jill and Brad turn to one another and Brad tells her that what comes around goes around. "You turned me in to the Feds. You will get yours!"
Marge sits at a bar and asks for another drink. "Trick or treat!" Just then, her pal Murphy comes in looking for her - he tells her that she's in trouble at work because she didn't show up for her shift! He informs her that Joe Jr. has put up a 'Help Wanted' sign in the diner window! Marge panics and Murphy says he'll help her sober up. They head to his trailer home and he makes coffee. She notes that in all the years he's been coming to eat at the diner, this is the first time she has seen his place! Murphy tells her she really needs to stop drinking. She replies that she wants to, but she can't! He suggests that maybe she needs rehab. He asks if she has someone she could call.
Back at Newman, Victoria and Nikki discuss getting Nick over to talk about what their next step should be. Suddenly Vikki gets a call telling her that Heather is there to see her! She walks in and tells them that they know all about their little scheme to throw them off by going to South America. "Nice try!" she snarks. Nikki throws the bag of bugs at her, saying, "You too!" Heather calmly informs them that they just want the truth, adding that they now know about the Chateau fire as well, and the French authorities want to find Victor too! Nikki says they know nothing and bothering them is pointless. J.T. points out that they have no evidence whatsoever! Vikki says that they wouldn't be doing this if it didn't concern Victor Newman. Nick walks in and Heather again asks them to cooperate, before leaving. Nikki says they need to find someone who can get through to Victor. Suddenly she has an idea and leaves abruptly to make a phone call! When she returns, she hands Nick a slip of paper. "I want you to set up a meeting for me with that person, and it has to look like a legitimate Restless Style business meeting." They all look quizzically at her. After Nikki leaves, Victoria and Nick decide to just trust Nikki's instinct.
Sharon heads into Crimson Lights and ignores a call from Jack on her cell phone as she sits down. Just then, Brad joins her, saying that all the charges against him have been dropped! Sharon is happy for him and suggests that he sit down and they'll celebrate! She says she knows he's been having a tough time lately, and Brad confides that it's true. He says he's very grateful for her friendship and they clasp hands across the table. Just then, Phyllis walks in. She tells Sharon it's a good thing that Jack isn't the jealous-type, since she's been spending so much time with Nick, and now with Brad! Sharon tells her to grow up, but Phyllis adds that she can't remember the last time she saw her with her husband! Phyllis walks away and Brad takes a call. He tells Sharon that Abby and Ashley recently moved to London. He then asks about Sharon's marriage - he says she can tell him the truth. Sharon says she wants to keep their friendship separate from her marriage. He tells her if she changes her mind, she can call him anytime and he'll come running! They embrace as Phyllis watches from inside.
Katherine and Amber have relocated to Jabot and are going through old newspaper articles about Katherine's life. Suddenly, Katherine finds an old clipping about the time in her life when Marge first came around! Jill comes in and sees the old newspaper articles all over. She says it's a great way to jog her memory! Katherine informs her that she's doing this for her book! Jill is irritated, saying she thought she had given up that idea! Jill warns that she'll spoil her good name by publishing this memoir. When Jill snaps at Amber, Kay calls her to task. She then informs her that a publisher has shown interest and it will happen! Jill vows not to let it ever go to print! Jill then begs her not to humiliate her, but Katherine won't bend. Jill stalks out of the office and picks up the nearest phone. She calls Kay's doctor and says she urgently needs to make an appointment. "I'm afraid she's really losing it!"
Nikki boards a plane and snaps on her seatbelt. The air stewardess asks if she's traveling for business or pleasure. Nikki responds, "Neither. It's just something I have to do."
