The fallout from Chloe's identity reveal continues, Lily and Cane share a moment, Victor starts making big moves!
Victoria sits down at Crimson Lights and looks up to see Victor standing there. "Daddy!" They embrace and she tells him she is so sorry about Sabrina - she was worried that he hated her! He says it's all forgotten. He explains that he realized in Mexico, that even though she was estranged from Sabrina, she still loved her. He tells his daughter they have a bond that will never be broken. Nick comes in and says he thought they would never see each other again. Victor declares a new beginning! Suddenly, Victoria is interrupted from her reverie - it was all a daydream! Nick sits down with her and she says she was imagining that Dad came back. At the counter in the coffee house, Michael receives an urgent text message to head out to the Newman Ranch. He assumes it's from Adam.
At the Ranch, Adam jumps up off Heather in shock! "Dad! You're alive!" Heather is aghast. "Oh my God!" Victor throbs with anger. He heads to his office, where Estella tells him that she tried to keep everything the way he liked it, but Adam wouldn't let her. He asks after Zapato and she says Adam banned him to the kennel. Victor asks her to bring him back in, and to let Michael in when he arrives. Outside the door, Adam hollers at Victor to talk to him. Heather tells Adam she will be heading to the Club. Michael arrives at the door and asks Adam what he wants. Adam tells him that it wasn't him who sent for him. As Estella leads Michael to Victor's office, Adam bellows, "Oh, he'll see his lawyer, but not his own son!" Michael goes in and says he's not too surprised that Victor turned up alive. Victor tells him that, obviously, they'll need to look after a few things. Michael agrees. He then informs Victor that Adam's first order of business at Newman was to fire Victoria and Neil Winters! Michael then tells Victor that Adam has appointed Brad Carlton as CEO of his company. He says from the very beginning of this, Adam has been all about business, while Nick and Victoria coordinated the searches. He says Adam even insists on calling himself Victor Newman now. Victor replies that that will no longer be the case. "Here's what I want you to do..."
At Neil's place, Lily and Devon discover his effects from work. Neil strolls into the room and stuns them by telling them that Adam fired him! The kids tell him not to let Adam get away with this. Talk turns to Ana, and Devon says she is having a great time. They are getting caught up on school schedules, when Neil gets a call from Michael letting him know about Victor. Neil hangs up and tells the kids, "Victor's alive!"
At the Chancellor Estate, Jill gets off the phone with a lawyer as Katherine walks into the room. Katherine tells her the only reason she has such a big problem with Chloe is because she hates Esther so much! Jill starts to argue and Esther walks in. Voices become raised until Kay says how this plays out will be decided by Chloe and Cane and no one else! Jill fumes that Katherine should have recognized her own Goddaughter! Kay says she remembers a blond girl with glasses and braces! Esther wants to speak and Jill spits, "Oh great! The Oracle of Foothill Road wants to speak!" Esther claims that Chloe would never have plotted this deliberately. Jill leaves and Esther tells Katherine that her daughter is not a bad person, but she can't understand why she has been in town all this time and not gotten in touch with her. Katherine asks if they ever discussed Cane. Esther says she told Chloe that Jill had found her son, but nothing more. Kay suggests she call her for a heart-to-heart.
At home, Cane is still ignoring Chloe. She presents him with a paper which outlines her rights as a mother. He counters that she lied about her name. She insists that she had it legally changed before she came to Genoa City. They glower at one another in a stalemate. Cane warns Chloe not to speak to him unless it's about the baby. As he leaves the room, Chloe picks up the phone and begins plotting.
Jill arrives at Cane's place, Chloe has gone out. Jill asks if he got any sleep last night. He says he didn't, and Jill tells him that he has married a girl he can't trust. She makes a comment about how Chloe is a maid's daughter and how attractive their lifestyle must have seemed to someone on the outside looking in. Cane reminds her of his 'regular' roots, and that she was once a manicurist! As Jill hands him her lawyer's number, he says he'll deal with Chloe himself.
At Crimson Lights, Nick and Victoria receive a phone call from Estella letting them know that Victor is at the Ranch. They are overjoyed!
Victoria and Nick arrive at the Ranch. They berate Adam for not calling them himself. Heather defends him, but Michael comes out just then. He tells them Victor is not ready to see them just yet. They are puzzled. Suddenly Neil arrives. They all look at each other quizzically as Neil is taken in to see Victor first! Neil greets Victor and tells him how great it is to see him. Victor wants to discuss business. With no preamble, he not only reinstates Neil, but makes him head of the company! Neil thanks him and Victor tells him that in his absence his son messed up royally, but he intends to put everything right! Neil comes out, and Adam is called in next. Adam turns to Heather. "Don't worry about hanging around. This could take awhile." Neil says he's headed to the office and Victoria smiles. Adam goes in and tells Victor he's glad that he's alive. He says he did the best he could under the circumstances - after all, he was overcome with grief! Victor watches him flounder, before saying, "What would give you the idea that I would want you to fire Neil Winters?" Outside the door, Nick and Victoria get impatient, but Michael warns them to wait - Victor is righting the wrongs of the past few weeks! Inside the office, Adam tells Victor he was just trying to be like him! Victor notes that he obviously could not see anything but his wealth and power. "Neil is reinstated, and you, Adam, are fired!" Victor informs him that his character is flawed and he is not only out of Newman, but also out of the house. Adam begins to protest, but Victor tells him it's already done! Adam bursts forth from the office and out of the house. Vikki and Nick go in and Victor turns to look at them. "Dad?"
At Crimson Lights, Chloe takes a call from Esther wanting to get together. She tries to put her off, but ultimately agrees before hanging up. Esther arrives soon, and Chloe is appalled that she showed up in her maid uniform. They discuss how embarrassed Chloe is of her. Esther says she's hurt. Chloe tells her that she should be happy - thanks to her she doesn't have to be a maid anymore. "We're Chancellors now!" Cane arrives, as does Lily, and they marvel at the news that Chloe is Esther's daughter. Meanwhile, Esther continues to tell a disbelieving Chloe that she likes her life the way it is! Chloe sighs and stops to tell Cane she is going shopping for baby clothes before leaving.
Back at Neil's house, Devon is thrilled to hear that Neil is now the CEO of Newman Enterprises. He shares with his father that he has recently quit his job - to focus on music. Neil notes that one thing he learned from Victor is that you can't force your kids to follow in your path. "I'm happy for you!"
Lily turns up at Cane's house, she says she wanted to continue the conversation from the coffee house. She tells him that no matter how messed up things get with Chloe, he is going to be an amazing father. She says Chloe is certainly a liar, and a manipulative witch! As she prepares to leave, he thanks her for coming. "You always know what I need, don't you." He pulls her into a passionate kiss, but she pulls away. "I can't do this!"
Back at the Chancellor Estate, Jill tells Katherine that she feels sick about what her son is going through. She says she even told him to offer Chloe money for the child. Katherine says that after all of these years of her blaming her for offering her money for a child - she can't believe it! Jill stammers that Chloe is a gold digger! Katherine shouts that she knows all about gold diggers! Jill contends that she is nothing like Chloe! Outside the door, Chloe rings the doorbell. Esther lets her in and she announces to all that Cane is being mean and the stress is bad for the baby. Jill is astounded - she wants to move in! Chloe asserts that she is carrying the next Chancellor heir and she wants to be shown to her room!
