Michael contends with demands from both Victor and his mother, Adam works to redeem himself, Nikki and Jill face-off!

Jana arrives at the Ranch to meet Sabrina for work. Sabrina explains that typically they will work out of the Gallery. Just then, Victor comes into the room and is introduced to Jana. Within minutes, Michael arrives and greets everyone. Adam comes downstairs, and Victor asks Michael if he can get them out of this legal mess. Michael promises to see what he can do.
At Jabot, David and Nikki share a snuggle before talk turns to the legal fight of Jabot vs Newman. As Nikki prepares to go and oversee the proceedings, David suggests that she just let Heather and her team handle it. Nikki replies, "Thanks, but I've got to oversee this one personally."
At Crimson Lights, Kevin is swamped in Jana's absence. As he deals with an unhappy customer, Gloria sweeps in. She hisses to Kevin that her jewels have all been replaced with fakes! Just then her phone rings - it's Jill, demanding that Gloria get into work now to make her presentation. Gloria begs off with a 'family emergency' excuse, and a frustrated Jill hangs up and says to Brad, "It could be worse, she could be my mother!" As Jill walks away, Brad approaches David and notes that he's wearing some nice bling. David bluntly replies, "It's over, Brad. I'm paying you off." Brad looks intrigued.

J.T. and Paul arrive at Crimson Lights and sit down to discuss the David situation. Paul relates to J.T. that he still believes David may be guilty of murder! Nearby, Gloria continues to discuss the fake jewels with Kevin, and is overheard by Alistair, who has just sauntered in. Kevin heads over to Paul and J.T.'s table and asks what they know about diamond smuggling. J.T. blows him off, telling him that they are in the middle of something. Kevin leaves, and Paul and J.T. return to discussing how to get David's past relatives to talk.

In the conference room at Jabot, Jill, Brad, and Heather tell Nikki and Victoria that the cost of pursuing the court case against Newman will be exorbitant - they suggest that she settle immediately. Nikki is stunned. "Absolutely not!" As they sit down for their meeting, it comes to light that an idea Victoria is proposing has already been brought forward by Brad. Nikki suggests that they work together on it, but Jill disagrees. Nikki leaves it up to Brad and he welcomes Victoria to 'Jabot Retro'. Jill then confronts Nikki about the lawsuit against Newman being personal. Nikki is outraged, and Brad jumps in and suggests a compromise. Brad offers to meet with Heather about it, but David quickly tells him that Nikki will be handling it herself! As everyone leaves the room but Jill and Brad, they exchange a look and Jill sighs, "I know!"

Back at the Newman Ranch, Michael suggests that Victor settle the lawsuit and move on. Victor is adamant that they will forge ahead and win! Adam clears his throat and asks if he can work with Michael on this matter. Michael agrees, but takes one last stab at convincing Victor to settle - to no avail. As Michael and Adam prepare to leave, Adam thanks Victor for the chance to redeem himself. Victor sternly warns him not to disappoint him again. Nearby, Michael chats with Jana - they figure out that all Gloria's text messages to him must mean that Kevin is swamped at the coffeehouse. Sabrina comes into the room and tells Victor the auction is about to start. Jana smiles as he kisses Sabrina. Victor leaves the room for a moment and Jana and Sabrina discuss the price of one of the items. Sabrina warns it's too costly even to mention to Victor. He overhears this and asks to see it. He then tells Sabrina to go ahead and bid on it. After he leaves the room, Jana says it's amazing how passionate they are about art. Sabrina smiles. "Art definitely brought us together!" Sabrina gets on the phone to start the bidding, and Victor comes back, urging her to bid upwards of 14 million dollars before they finally win the auction! As Jana is sent to the kitchen for lemonade, Sabrina jumps into Victor's arms in celebration. The pair gets comfy on the sofa, and Victor mentions their honeymoon, saying he doesn't want to wait. He asks her about the 'wedding of her dreams', and she says she just wants him - no matter where or how!

In Nikki's office, Victoria arrives and listens to her mother's rant about how ridiculous Jill's suggestion is that she is pursuing this lawsuit as a way to get back at Victor. Victoria replies that with her history with Victor it's not that surprising, but she also feels Jill has issues with Nikki taking over her spot at Jabot. Victoria then notes that the whole lawsuit is due to Adam. "Wonder what dad thinks of his golden boy now?" As Victoria walks out, David comes in. He notes that the lawsuit may not be personal - but they sure won't mind when the judge rules against Victor! Nikki looks uncomfortable. Nikki leaves the room and runs into Jill again. Jill apologizes for the dust-up earlier, but also says she isn't convinced that this isn't personal. She asks Nikki to examine why she is being so defensive about this. "Everything always comes back to Victor with you, Nikki, and it always will until you let it go!"

Michael arrives at Crimson Lights to find Alistair serving him at the counter. Michael locates Kevin and asks if he has lost his mind! Gloria runs over and tells Michael about the fake jewels. Michael tells his mother not to panic - the diamonds were appraised beforehand, therefore they must have been insured. Just then, Alistair brings Michael a cup of his newly invented, 'special of the day' - a skeptical Michael is stunned when the drink turns out to be delicious! Gloria then breaks the news that she actually neglected to insure the jewels, so as to avoid a paper trail! Michael then tells her she's screwed. Michael goes to take his seat and speak with Adam about the lawsuit. He gives him a list of names to interview, but is interrupted by Gloria paging him. Michael sighs, "Just shoot me!" Adam smiles, and tells Michael that he will miss his mother when she's gone. As Adam makes some calls and reports his findings to Michael, he is pleasantly surprised when Michael tells him he is good at this! Michael then turns his attention back to Gloria. Meanwhile, Victoria arrives at Crimson Lights and tells J.T. that Jabot is starting to feel more like Newman everyday, but at least there she doesn't have her father's new family in her face all the time. Sensing her sadness, J.T. tells his wife that Victor asks about her and Reed every day. She smiles. Next to J.T., Paul makes another call about David. Afterward, J.T. and Paul continue to discuss David's past connections as they work out who to contact next - perhaps David's former stepdaughter!
Adam arrives home at the Ranch and tells Victor he has bad news - the lab he contacted didn't come back with the results they were hoping for. Victor demands that he find another lab - one that will return the result they require. Adam humbly excuses himself.
At Jabot, David takes a call from his bookie and makes yet another bet! After, Brad takes a call from the bookie, who reports that he has talked David into another bad bet. Brad chuckles and thanks him. David then comes in and offers Brad $10,000 of the money he owes him. Brad smirking, tells David not to worry about not being able to come up with it all. "I know you're good for it!" As they shake on it, Nikki appears and watches suspiciously!

Jana arrives back at Crimson Lights crowing about the $14 million dollar art piece bought by Victor Newman 'just because he's in love'. Gloria listens and sulks, and Alistair goes over and places a phone call to Jeffrey, "I think I made a mistake telling you about Gloria's diamonds - she's lost everything!" The sinister Jeffrey, however, denies any knowledge of Gloria's diamonds, and Alistair realizes what he has done!

Next on The Young and the Restless:
David tells Nikki, "A war with Victor is what he wants." Nikki replies, "I don't care what he wants!"
Adam kisses Heather!
Paul says to David's stepdaughter on the phone, "I want to talk to you about David Chow." She replies, "I've been waiting since my mother's funeral for someone to listen!"
