JT and Paul find David's ex, Victor shows Sabrina his generous side and Adam gets in it deep with Victor and Newman!
JT meets Paul at Crimson Lights where they discuss the David Chow case and how David's ex, Elizabeth "Bitsy" is getting cold feet about talking. Paul can't get an address on her but realizes Neil used to work with Chow, at the same firm Elizabeth worked at. Neil may know her!
David snatches Nikki's social security number from her handbag in the Jabot conference room. He scrambles when she turns up looking for the bag. He "finds" it for her and she dashes off while David makes a call to his credit card company, asking to add Nikki to his credit card and push up the limit!
Victor greets a swamped Sabrina in the living room at the ranch. Victor invites her on an in-home shopping spree. Sabrina's delighted when Lauren arrives with a rack of dresses, but Sabrina finds it too extravagant. Victor tells her this is nothing and takes a call as Lauren urges her to try on the dresses.
In Neil's office, Neil and Adam discuss marketing their product. Adam has an appointment with the Midwestern sales crew and refuses Neil when he asks to sit in. Adam asks Neil to summarize their marketing deal! Later, Neil calls Victor and explains a new deal to him and Victor asks Neil to watch Adam. Neil asks if Victor needs a memo on the marketing data and Victor brushes it off. "Show me later." He asks Neil to stay on top of Adam. Once they hang up, Neil says, "I just did!"
Back at the ranch, Sabrina can't decide on one dress, so Victor wants to buy them all. Sabrina flat out refuses and Sabrina tells Victor he's thoughtful, generous and kind, but she loves him for him - not his money! Sabrina reminds him that others assume otherwise. Victor tells her to get used to people talking about them. They discuss Victor's wealth and Sabrina admits she's overwhelmed and doesn't want to lose track of what's important. They kiss as she tells him he makes her happy. She makes a deal. She chooses one item from the rack - a handbag! Later, Lauren is happy to have sold just the one handbag, but Victor apologizes for having her all the way out there for just a handbag. Lauren calls Sabrina lovely and thinks it's fantastic that she didn't take it all.
At Jabot, Nikki asks Heather to go over a file for her. Heather agrees to do it, but when she turns to rush off, she bumps straight into Brad! After Heather apologizes, they discuss his case and he asks to wine and dine her this evening. Too busy, she requests a rain check and Brad jokes how he needs to visit the chiropractor, now! After they leave, Vicki comes out of hiding. Turns out, she has heard the exchange.
At Newman, Adam talks with someone on the phone about using an ace in the hole. "I'll play that when the timing is absolutely right," he says. Later, Adam returns to Neil's office and asks how the memo is going. Neil says it's the best memo in the history of Newman. "I'm going to frame it," Neil jokes. Adam, the ever stoic, just wants to see the memo. Paul turns up and steals Neil away. Paul asks after David Chow and when Neil says he doesn't like the guy, Paul asks for more information. Neil remembers that Chow used to follow Carmen Mesta around, during their fling. He thinks he broke into her apartment to rattle her cage. Paul brings up David's ex, Elizabeth, from Grandville Global, but Neil hasn't met her. Neil doesn't trust Chow. Outside the room, we see Adam listening in as Neil says, "That's the understatement of the year."
In Victoria's office, Victoria tells Brad she doesn't agree with dating company employees. Brad denies anything going on with Heather but Vicki thinks he's smooth. First it'll be dinner, then drinks and then back to his place! Brad wonders when the Jabot dating policy has changed!
Back in the conference room, David is sweating when the credit card company requests to talk to Nikki about upping her credit card limit. Nikki arrives and he tries to act as though all is well. They agree to meet later for dinner.
Paul finds JT in the coffee break room and tells him that he realized that Grandville Global is a part of Newman now. He wonders if JT could check out the security records for him!
Nikki finds David on the phone in his office, and Nikki asks if he's ready to go. He apologizes to her for not being able to meet with her at the moment. He lies that he has issues with the delivery trucks, which wound up in a different city! Once she leaves, he continues a conversation with the bank, asking to get a loan in Nikki's name! They tell him they need her signature but he lets them know how busy she is, and asks if he can bring the loan papers home for her to sign. They refuse him that too and he later hangs up, frustrated.
Adam enters Neil's office and tells him it's an interesting position, being the new guy at the company. He says things change so often. Neil asks if they taught him how to be flexible at Harvard. Adam says they didn't and he takes a seat and asks why Paul Williams was at Newman when JT takes care of security here. Neil tells him he doesn't need to know and Adam assumes Neil has it all figured out and is sure Victor knows all about it. Neil rolls his eyes and tells him he has to get back to work.
Nikki finds Victoria at Jabot, and they discuss how it's a girl's night only as David's putting out fires. Victoria takes a call from Neil, who asks if she approved a specific accounting charge. She says she did but only to annoy Adam. The report is with accounting, she says and later, Heather comes by to talk to Victoria and gets advice about Brad! She confesses sometimes what you see is not what you get. Heather doesn't mix pleasure with business anyway! Victoria thinks it's for the best and they leave when Nikki arrives. Later, Neil calls Victoria back and not looking too pleased; he tells her he has found what he was searching for, regarding the accounting file.
JT and Paul meet at Crimson Lights. JT says he didn't find out much about Grandville Global and Elizabeth. They decide to call her again and pretend to be the SCC and trace the call! They set up equipment and JT makes the call. He's put through to her home, but she hangs up quickly. Paul is able to find her area code - 411 and the prefix - she resides on the island of Bermuda!
At Jabot, Brad is incredulous as he calls his friend about David and finds out that he quit gambling cold turkey! As David tries to think of what else to do, Brad arrives and they discuss when Brad will get his money. Brad asks David for drinks and poker at his place but David refuses.
Sabrina finds Nikki and Victoria at the Club. Both girls snub their nose at her but notice the new handbag and gossip. Victoria admits she's trying to be happy for them. Adam arrives and talks shop with Victoria while Victoria takes a call from Heather, who asks her to come back to work to check on a wrinkle in a caseload.
Neil arrives at the ranch and tells Victor that Adam may have moved too quickly on a deal and they are now ensconced in a court case with Jabot, over copyright laws!
