David and Nikki's plans run into a snag. Phyllis is shut out. Sabrina and Adam form an uneasy alliance.
At Jabot, David pulls out a sparkler and puts it on Nikki's finger. He tells her it's a family heirloom he brought back from Texas! He then asks her about moving up the wedding date. "How does tonight grab you?" He suggests going to Mexico. Nikki replies, "Don't you know what today is?" Out in the hall, Chloe comes in with Cane and Lily greets them. Chloe compliments Lily on the Restless Style cover, but Cane notices something is wrong. Later, Victoria arrives at work and runs into Katherine. They discuss Victor, and Victoria informs her that her father is engaged! Kay asks what Nikki thinks about that and Victoria huffs that everyone has moved on! Back in the conference room, Nikki explains to David that she is nervous to fly on the anniversary of the plane crash, but eventually she gives in. They decide to take off and keep it a secret, but just then Katherine walks in. "Fabulous! I love secrets!" Just then, David steps out and takes a call telling him that the purchase of the ring put him over his limit! Back in the room, Nikki confides their plans to Katherine who shrugs, "Why not?"
At the Ranch, Sabrina prepares a celebration for Victor. He calls and tells her he is going to be home late that night - the investors from Dubai are waiting for him. As she hangs up, Adam comes in. "Sabrina! You shouldn't have!" She rolls her eyes. He tells her that Victor is tied up with business. She says she knows, and he warns that she should get used to it. Sabrina, however, says Victor is nothing like Adam! Later, as Adam sits working with his feet up on the table, Sabrina comes in and lectures him. "Were you raised in a barn?" Adam smirks, "Actually, yes, I was!" Suddenly, Victoria shows up at the door looking for Victor, she takes in the scene and tells the pair that it is nice that they are settling in and making themselves at home! Adam and Sabrina bicker in front of Victoria. She turns to Sabrina and says that the only thing that makes sense is that she has romanced her father as a career move! Adam listens and says she has a good point! Victoria then turns on him, telling him he's a manipulating backstabber. "Congratulations! You all make one big, ugly family!" With that, she storms out! Sabrina tells Adam that he never has respected Victoria's brains. He counters she nor her brother ever really gave him a chance. He tells her to watch out, looks like she's going to be on the receiving end of their wrath as well! Just as they agree to try and start anew with their relationship, Victor comes home and takes Sabrina upstairs, leaving Adam alone.
Karen sits at Crimson Lights and Neil walks in and joins her. She tells him that what she has to tell him may not make him happy! She informs him that she has been offered a job in New York. Neil is taken aback. Karen says she's made so many mistakes - she never should have moved in with him - it's Dru's place! As Neil protests, Karen insists that what he wants is Dru, and she'll never be Dru! Neil claims he never thought that, but Karen tells him if he's honest he won't be able to deny it. She goes for a walk, saying as she goes, that if he can look in her eyes when she returns and tell her he is not still in love with Dru, then she'll stay. When Karen returns, Neil tells her what she needs to hear.she was right about Dru - he's not ready! Karen cries and they share a deep kiss goodbye.
At Restless Style, Phyllis leaves a phone message for Nick. Sharon, sitting nearby, comments on Nick's flight getting into Nashville. Phyllis tells her that she made him drive - it's been a year since the plane crash! She and Sharon then discuss the crash until they are interrupted by Jack, who arrives with new covergirl, Samantha Cresswell and Kathy Hilton in tow! Kathy explains that Samantha grew up with her daughter Paris. As they all talk excitedly, Phyllis pulls Jack aside and notes that he didn't clear this decision with her or Nick. Jack tells her he didn't have time for that! He informs her that all she should be saying to him right now is 'thank you'! Kathy, Jamie, Phyllis, and Jack sit down to discuss the cover, but no one will listen to Phyllis's ideas. Once alone with Jack, Phyllis asks if she can still decide what size of paper clips they will buy?! Soon the photo shoot gets underway. Phyllis suggests a different outfit and Jamie nixes the idea. Phyllis approaches Sharon and asks when Jamie became the Editor-in-Chief?! Sharon tells her it's going to sell magazines. "So stop whining!" Phyllis raises an eyebrow as Sharon stalks away!
At the Penthouse, Amber fusses as they prepare for their double date with Jana and Kevin. She jokes that they should enjoy the Penthouse while they can still afford it! Daniel laughs and assures her that he'll pay half the rent so they can stay. Daniel pulls her into his lap as Jana and Kevin arrive! Later, the foursome play a stimulating game of Pictionary! As the game wraps up and Jana lays into Kevin for causing them to lose, Daniel and Amber share a kiss and revel in domestic bliss. With Jana and Kevin gone home, Daniel draws a picture on the easel of Amber and writes below it, "#1 Girlfriend". Amber is very happy. Back at Crimson Lights, Jana worries that her job at the Gallery is damaging her karmic connection with Kevin. He responds, "It's only Pictionary, Jana!"
At the Club, Chloe, Cane, Lily and Devon have dinner together. As they toast Lily's cover, Chloe takes a call informing her that her apartment was just flooded - she needs a new place to live! Lily shocks the guys by suggesting that Chloe move in with her and Devon! When Chloe goes to the ladies room, Devon asks Lily if she has lost her mind! Lily says she just feels bad. "I don't think she has any friends!" Devon says he's calling his buddy to see if he can stay with him! Later, Devon sits alone with Chloe who excitedly tells him they'll do facials and it will be so fun! Cane and Lily look on as Devon smiles, and Cane worries that this is a very bad idea! He asks Lily suddenly, what has been bothering her. She admits that she read an article that said caffeine can compromise pregnancy. Cane tells her she is not to blame for what happened! Just then, Lily gets a call from Sharon telling her that she needs to meet with her to discuss the cover. Meanwhile, at Restless Style, the photo shoot has wrapped up and Kathy Hilton and Samantha Cresswell are leaving. Samantha asks to keep the expensive dress she's wearing and Phyllis balks. Jamie steps in and tells her that of course she can keep it. After they leave, Phyllis says to Jack, "A four thousand dollar dress just walked out the door!" Jack insists they'll bill her for it, but Phyllis just reminds him that he has partners! After she walks away, Jamie approaches Jack with another change. Jack looks over at Phyllis nervously and then authorizes the new artwork! Meanwhile, Sharon arrives at the Club and asks to speak with Lily alone. Lily smiles and says it's fine. Sharon clears her throat and says, "Lily, we've decided to go with a different model. We've pulled your cover." Back at Restless Style, Phyllis leaves Nick a message telling him everything that's been going on! Jack sits with Jamie and she tells him that his partners might not have had the foresight to follow her suggestions. He agrees that he was the right one to make the decisions!
As they board their flight to Mexico, Nikki and David have a run-in with a strange old lady with a growling cat in her purse! They ask if she'd be willing to switch seats so they could sit together, but she refuses! David and Nikki exchange glances as the lady settles in and coughs and hacks loudly! Later, an hour has passed and the hot, stuffy plane hasn't taken off, and the cat lady snores loudly in between David and Nikki! Just as they are asking one another what they are doing, and considering getting off the plane, the flight starts up the runway, prompting a new round of coughing from the cat lady!

It is extremely rude to fly into a city and ask what the name of the city is. I hate when big-shots pull that "What city is this" crap. Have some respect, do a little research, and act as if you have a clue in life.
