David sinks deeper into his addiction, Victoria has a serious message for Victor, and Adam learns a secret!
As they sit at the Club, Nikki tells Paul that she feels disloyal talking about David. Paul reminds her that now is the time to find out if there is a problem with her fiancé! She says that David really listens to her and is so good at the small things! Paul says none of it matters if he's lying to her! Meanwhile, Adam smiles as he gets a text message from Skye who is still at the poker game at Brad's house. As the game progresses, everyone folds but David and Skye. She lets him win the hand and watches craftily as he pulls the chips in! In the next round, Skye wins, and Brad suggests that they raise the limit. David eagerly agrees. Back in the Club dining room, Paul and Nikki discuss what a good couple J.T. and Victoria are, and Nikki laments her daughter's problem at work - Adam! Paul says sibling rivalry is normal, and Nikki agrees, but says she just doesn't trust him. Over at Brad's place, David has pushed the stakes to $5000! Skye sees David's $5000, and raises him, finally the pot ends up at $50,000! David reveals a full house, but Skye says she wishes she'd bet more. "Four of a kind!" David is crestfallen as she rakes everything in! Brad later tells Skye that she is certainly intriguing. They do a little more flirting, but Skye tells Brad to "know when to fold 'em". He walks her out. David then comes out of the other room and informs Brad that he can't cover the check he wrote! Brad suggests that he ask Nikki to cover it, but David says that's impossible. Brad then offers to float him a loan - for $150,000! David accepts. As he goes to get his checkbook, Brad looks extremely pleased with himself!
Gloria is meeting with her lawyer at the Club and reiterates that she wants to donate half of her fortune to charity. He tries to advise her against it, but ends up saying he'll draw up the paperwork. Meanwhile, Jeff tells his lawyer at the Chancellor Mansion, that he wants half of Gloria's assets. Jill comes in and Jeff tells his lawyer he'll call her in the morning. Back at the Club, Gloria runs into Esther who invites her to join the bowling team! Gloria brushes the invitation off and neatly turns the conversation to Jeffrey being at the Chancellor Mansion. She sweet talks Esther, hoping to use her as an 'in' for information on what Jeff is up to at Jill's place. Back in the living room, Jill and Jeffrey chat and he flirts with her shamelessly! Back at the Club, Esther, fueled by drinks, is complaining to Gloria about Jeff's behavior, and in the process, reveals that Jill and Jeff are not staying in the same room! Back at the Chancellor Estate, Jeff is offering to cook for Jill to repay her kindness. This is followed quickly by an offer of a foot massage! Soon, Gloria waltzes into the Chancellor Mansion. With the massage in full swing, Gloria says to Jeffrey, "You are so busted!" Jill asks what she's doing there?! Gloria says they may be separated, but Jeffrey is still her husband! Jill then informs her that Jeff just had a divorce lawyer there! Gloria is taken aback. As he walks her outside, Gloria again has her wall up when he asks why she came to see him. He sighs as she walks away. Back inside, Jill notes that Jeff is still in love with his wife. He denies it, but Jill insists it's true.
Victoria knocks on Victor's office door and tells him she came to talk to him without Sabrina around. Meanwhile, Adam runs into Sabrina and he says he's thinking of going over to show Victor some research. She tells him to stop trying so hard, and he insults her in return. Back in Victor's office, Victoria admits to her father that she is angry and disappointed about how she has been "undervalued" since Adam arrived. Victor denies it's true. She tells her father that he is blind to Adam's manipulations! Victor tells his daughter it's a serious charge she's leveling at him! She stands by her opinion, however, and informs him that she is tired of his excuse, "it's a business decision"! She tells him she is heading home and he orders her not to walk out on him. She then turns and tells him that she is done with Newman - he and Adam can do what they like! "I quit!" Once she is gone, Sabrina comes into Victor's office. He fills her in on Victoria resigning. She worries that it's because of her, but Victor explains that it was because of Adam. Victoria, meanwhile, shows up at her mother's room at the Club and tells her that she has quit Newman. Nikki asks what her plan is, and Victoria tells her straight out that she would like to come work at Jabot! Nikki is thrilled and they embrace! Back in Victor's office he complains to Sabrina that these children can't separate family from business. Sabrina jumps in with her complaints about Adam, but Victor insists that Adam is highly qualified - that's why he has the position he has at Newman. Sabrina tries to give Vikki's point of view, but Victor won't budge. Sabrina then notes that he and Victoria are a lot alike, and asks if he would allow Victoria to come back if she changed her mind. He says if she agreed to work with Adam, he would. They decide to head home.
Later, Skye arrives at Adam's room and describes how she chose her target, lost a few hands on purpose, then raked in $50,000! Adam is astounded. "You're good. Especially when you're bad!" They start making love. Meanwhile, David arrives home and starts weaving his lies to Nikki about the 'meeting' he attended. She tells him that Victoria came by and she is coming to work at Jabot! David embraces his happy fiancee, but over her shoulder he looks perturbed. As they head to bed, Nikki apologizes for being distant lately. He offers to walk away if working with him is bothering her. She says that's not it - he knows what is bothering her! He says he'll prove to her that she can trust him. They kiss. Back in Adam's room, Skye and Adam lay in his bed and he tells her she has now scored twice in one night! They laugh as he calls her a hustler. She then mentions that David Chow was her target. Adam is taken aback and asks to see the check. He then shakes his head in amazement about how Nikki Newman thinks he's not good enough to associate with her two over-privileged kids, but her lover just got fleeced by his lover! Skye notes that David is an experienced gambler, and Adam wonders if Nikki knows!

Victor tells J.T. that it is best if he moves on to another company. J.T. asks incredulously, "I'm being fired?!"
Adrian asks Colleen, "What do you want me to tell my publisher?" Colleen responds, "This is my family!"
Gloria and Jeffrey have another face-to-face about whether they really want to divorce, or not!
