Nick surprises Phyllis in more ways than one! Gloria and Jeffrey hit and miss again! David is feeling the heat at the poker table!

At the Club, Jeff stops Gloria as she comes down the stairs. He tells her things have gotten out of hand, and that he doesn't want Jill! She starts to walk away from him and he follows her. They sit in the dining room by the fireplace. He admits to her that their uncle left all of his money to William, and it ended up with her - so he then decided to end up with her! He explains that he never meant to actually fall for her, but he is speaking now from the heart. "I care Gloria, and I know you care too! Do you want to be with me?" She says she thought that was true - but then he connected with Jill! She says she's tired of the games! He tells her if she truly believes it's hopeless than he'll have to accept that. She tells him she has survived the loss of two husbands she loved with all her heart - she can certainly survive living without one she hates! With that, Jeff walks away!

At Restless Style, Phyllis and Nick deal with a couple of crises at work. They need to find a writer as soon as they can, or they'll have to give up their anniversary celebration that night! Nick then finds out that he has to run out to pick up a part for the printer. Just then the power goes out! Phyllis can't believe it - they'll never make it to the Colonnade Room! Nick asks her to go and get the part, and pick up takeout on her way back. He says he'll try to fix the lights and they'll go out another night. She agrees, noting that he seems very okay with this.

In Adam's room, he compliments Skye on how good she looks in her dress as she prepares to head to Brad's poker game. She asks Adam if he has his eye on anyone in town. When he hesitates, she figures out that it's someone unavailable! Meanwhile, at Jabot, Brad and David whisper in the hall about the poker game. Brad assures him no one from work will be there. In the conference room, Nikki tells Jill her micro-management needs to stop. Jill says it will continue - and if Nikki has a problem with that, she knows what she can do! Out in the hallway, Brad runs into Heather and asks her out for dinner later in the week. Just then, Paul comes in and has the same request. She tells her father she's pretty busy right now. Later, Brad meets with Jill in the conference room and she warns him to report to Nikki and David - it has to be that way. Brad looks annoyed. Outside near the elevator, Nikki laments to David that Jill is driving her crazy. He tells her that he has booked her a massage at the Club. Back in the conference room, Brad tells Jill that John Abbott was a mentor and like a father to him. He vows to help Jill keep Jabot the way John would have wanted it!

At the Club, Paul runs into Lauren and they joke about aging and he discusses how Heather has come back into his life. He tells Lauren he is afraid that Heather is seeing Brad Carlton. He admits to Lauren that he doesn't trust him! Lauren and Paul continue to joke about their past. She says, "What about the time I submitted your photo to a nude magazine?" They laugh uproariously until Gloria interrupts. Paul excuses himself and she sits down with Lauren. Gloria laments that she thinks she's pushed Jeffrey too far this time. Lauren is unsympathetic. Meanwhile, at the Chancellor Mansion, Jeffrey lounges in the living room alone as Esther leaves for bowling. He calls Jill and asks her out for dinner, but she declines. He then hangs up and calls someone else. "Hi. It's Jeffrey Bardwell. I need to see you as soon as possible." Back at the Club, Lauren tells her she is prone to drama, and if Jeff is gone for good, it's her own doing! Gloria wonders if she can change her karma. Across the room, Paul sits alone and is approached by Nikki. He asks her to join him until David gets there, but she explains that she's on her own tonight - David's busy! Back over at the Chancellor Mansion, Jeffrey opens the door to a lawyer and tells her the problem is his marriage! Back in the Club, Lauren advises Gloria to be honest with Jeff. "This isn't second grade!" Gloria says she thinks she knows what she is going to do and thanks Lauren. Gloria then gets on the phone looking for Keith Joiner. "It's urgent! I need to see him tonight." Across the room, Nikki explains to Paul that she really does love David - he's the anti-Victor! Later, Nikki seems distracted and Paul asks her how she really is - she seems worried about something. Nikki tells him she is just stressed a little because she lives and works with the same person. Paul tells her he's not buying it, and asks if David is gambling again. She says she thinks he might be. "I hate to say this, but I don't trust him!" Meanwhile, Gloria's lawyer has shown up and she tells him she would like to donate half of her fortune to charity. Over at the Chancellor Mansion, Jeffrey tells his lawyer he wants half of Gloria's fortune!

At Brad's house, Skye arrives for the poker game and is introduced to 'the guys'. He flirtatiously offers her Tequila and she accepts! David arrives at Brad's and they all sit down at the table. Skye eyes David strangely. As the game gets underway, the stakes continue to rise, as Skye pushes things higher and David meets and raises. When they call, David thinks he's won with a flush, but Brad beats his hand. The tension in David is palpable. As they play again, David continually raises the stakes - right to the limit. This time he wins and Skye watches David's reaction with interest.

At Restless Style, Phyllis returns to find the lights are still off and Nick wanting to blindfold her! He leads her into another area of the building and reveals a honky-tonk theme complete with musicians! She asks if they were ever going to the Colonnade Room and he admits it was all a sham. Nick then says this isn't the only surprise he has for her. He turns her around and she sees country singer Trace Adkins standing there! He introduces himself in his trademark deep voice and Phyllis is thrilled! Nick tells Trace to go ahead whenever he is ready! As Trace performs "You're Gonna Miss This", Nick holds Phyllis in his arms while they watch.

After he finishes his song, Phyllis claps and kisses her husband! Trace says goodbye and tells them to invite him back for their tenth anniversary. As Phyllis turns to Nick and points out that he's wearing the same tie he wore in the honky-tonk, he then looks into her eyes and tells her there is no one he would rather spend the rest of his life with than her. With tears in her eyes, she says that is what he said at their wedding. As she realizes that he has regained his memory, she tells him it's the best gift she could have been given. He, in turn, tells her that the best gift he's ever been given is her. They share a passionate kiss and embrace.
