Devon goes through a series of tests, Katherine finds out Jack's secret, and Katherine considers selling to "House of Kim".
At the hospital, Lily paces, asking Daniel what could be going on. She feels this is her fault, because she was vaccinated and should have dragged him to the doctors with her.
Devon is frightened, as he can't hear anything. Devon has lost his hearing, due to a side effect from meningitis. They're not sure if it's going to be permanent.
The doctor examines Devon. When he snaps his fingers beside Devon's ears, Devon doesn't hear anything and is confused and very anxious. He yells, "Why can't I hear anything?"
Later, the doctor comes out to tell them that Devon is unable to hear normal sound frequencies and they'll need to run more tests to find out what is causing the hearing loss before they talk about treating it. They go in to see Devon, who is very alarmed when they start talking to him and he can't hear them. They try to tell him that the doctors can fix him and get a pad and paper in order to talk to him.
Brad and Victoria are at home, where she is working. It's Yom Kippur and Brad is not working today. Brad asks Victoria to allow him to make things up to her for all of his lies in their marriage. She still has concerns that he'll never be able to open up to her. Victoria is not ready to leave their marriage but she requires him to be honest from now on.
In the coffee room, Sharon is chatting with Victor about the NVP opening. He has seen the interview and is happy with it. Sharon asks questions about how Victor feels about Jack owning NVP. He's fine with it.
At Jack's office, Billy tells Jack he knows that Jack is playing Katherine. He goes on to say that Michael is suspicious of him but if he tells him the truth, he may be able to help him! Jack tells his brother that it was a great idea - one he wishes he'd thought of. Billy wonders if the 'Brothers Grimm' (Kevin and Michael) are on to Jack! Billy asks if he can be his 'mole' at Chancellor and the two men shake hands. Jack assures Billy that there is no way that they can find out that Jack is behind things, so Billy only asks that he be able to fire Kevin when the time comes!
Gloria walks into Kevin's office, asking what's going on and after twisting Kevin's arm, he tells her that they found that Jack really is behind Raaz Cosmetics. She's really excited that they were right all along to be suspicious.
In Katherine's office, Michael tells Katherine (off the record) that Jack is behind Mr. Nair's offer to purchase Jabot. He shows her some documents to prove it and Katherine admires Jack for his tenacity! Katherine asks how he found out about this but he cannot reveal his sources. Katherine asks Michael what she plans to do about it and she picks up the phone calling Mr. Nair to tell his secretary that she is rescheduling the appointment with him to another time.
Brad goes into the office to talk to Victor. He discusses how he and Victoria are working on their marriage and he apologizes to Victor for putting the family in jeopardy. Victor forgives him and tells him that what's in the past is in the past and what matters is the future.
In his hospital room, Devon is frustrated and saddened as he goes through a series of hearing tests. He hears nothing at all and after time passes he is frustrated to the point where he wants to quit. The doctor tells the family that Devon can't hear much at all and Lily freaks out, saying 'What about music', Devon is deaf?'
The family goes in to see him and he is growing increasingly afraid. He asks to be alone with Lily and she starts to cry. He tells her that it's only temporary. She asks how she can help but he tells her to get the CDs out of there, and then yells to "Get out!!" She stays and he tells her he is scared. He asks that she promise not to lie to him, telling him its okay if it isn't. She promises and hugs him.
At Victoria's, Rebecca tells her daughter-in-law that she is sorry for all that has happened. Victoria tells her that it's not her fault, and asks her to be patient. Victoria tells her mother-in-law that she is trying.
At Newman, Brad and Sharon talk in the coffee room. He thanks her for helping him see Victoria's side yesterday, because it has helped.
At Jack's office, he sees John's ghost again. They talk about what Jack is doing with Mr. Nair. John asks Jack when this will all stop. He is really disappointed in Jack and Jack tries to justify himself. He tells his dad he refuses to feel guilty about wanting to purchase Jabot.
Victoria goes into the office to talk to her dad, telling him that Brad and she are working out their problems. He tells her that she is a bright businesswoman and he asks that she use those smarts in her personal life, because it will be easier to deal with issues.
Billy enters Katherine's office. She tells him she's not ready to sell. Billy takes his grandmother "The OG" as he calls her, to the Athletic Club.
In his office, Jack calls Mr. Nair, who shares the news that she didn't sell. He doesn't know why so Jack tells Mr. Nair not to worry, he'll find out why she didn't sell.
At Kevin's office, Michael tells Kevin and Gloria that they shouldn't expect him to break the law again, because he won't. He has a wife and child to think of.
Katherine meets with 'The House of Kim' representative. He gives her an offer. Later, she meets with Michael, asking him to keep quiet about the second offer.
In Jack's office, Billy tells Jack that Katherine isn't selling due to 'management', and he knows that she knows he is behind the purchase.
Brad and Sharon continue to talk in the coffee room and he tells her he is still committed to his marriage. Victoria interrupts, asking Brad "I thought you weren't coming into work today?" He explains why he is there and that he's going home to take his mom to the Temple.
Jack sees Sharon, who seems in a strange mood. She begs off dinner tonight.
After she leaves, John shows up telling him that maybe Sharon sees him for who he is! To that, Jack asks him to take his ectoplasm and go!
