Olivia arrives home to share in her family's sorrow, Gloria & Kevin hide in the shadows as Jack & Mr. Kim talk, and Cane is shocked when Amber's interview airs...
In Jack's office, after Victor briefly asks Jack about Sharon, Jack changes the subject and says, "Although Nikki is my opponent, I respect her and I'm not going to drag her through the mud." Victor agrees, that to benefit Jack and his candidacy, he needs to mend some fences, then goes further to suggest, "Call Ji Min right now and ask him to rethink the NVP tie-in." When Jack says, "You're expecting the impossible," Victor replies, "I've come to expect the impossible from you, Jack." Reluctantly, Jack calls Ji Min and asks to get together, "It's about the tie-in for NVP and Jabot." Although Ji Min suggests against it, he agrees to meet Jack. After Jack hangs up, Victor tells Jack it pays to reach out to people.
At Crimson Lights, Cane reads an interview in the paper, where Amber boosts about Cane's journey to finding Jill, then looks at Amber, "When did you give this interview?" As Cane reads on in disappointment, Amber acts as though the editor twisted her words, then calls Jill to apologize.
At Jabot, while reading Amber's interview, Jill and Kay get a call from Amber. Just as Michael comes in, Jill tells Amber to explain her mistake to Michael, then hands him the phone. Michael warns Amber not to talk to the press anymore, "We have major damage control to do!" When Cane and Amber arrive, Amber apologizes for blabbing, "I told the reporter it was off the record." Michael walks in close and warns Amber, "The next time a reporter approaches you, you're to say NO COMMENT!" After Amber agrees, Michael hands them all a stack of paper and instructs, "Take some notes and write down everything from your past that you would not want to see in print."
From Michael's apartment, on his laptop, Kevin and Gloria spy on! When Kevin says, "Michael wouldn't want us doing this," he closes out the window. However, Gloria begs Kevin to turn it back on and he does!
At Jabot, alone with Kay, Michael goes over her sins on paper, "Is there anything else about the baby switching that you can remember?" However, Kay says, "No."
Next, alone with Jill, Michael reminds her that although the DA didn’t press charges against Kay, the press will still be hounding Jill, "Are you prepared for that?" However, Jill has a solution to put a stop to all of this, "Kay should pay for what she did!"
Next, alone with Cane, Michael is informed that Cane has a criminal record, "Some friends and I were drinking and playing golf naked and we got busted." Michael assures Cane that his transgressions are minimal.
Lastly, alone with Amber, she tells Michael about the baby she had in LA with Rick Forrester, the one who died, and about the one she tried to pass off as her own - her cousin's baby. "They ended up taking him away from me… It's a good thing I've changed because I have totally different priorities now, but I can't tell Cane about this." However, Michael reminds her, "He'll find out about it sooner or later." Fearing Cane will leave her, Amber asks, "Promise me you won't tell Cane."
When Lily arrives at the apartment, she tells Devon and Daniel that Neil didn't go home last night. Lily, Devon and Daniel all head out in search of Neil.
At Indigo, Neil awakes from a chair and finds a fresh pot of coffee on the bar. Although he manages to pour a cup, he changes his mind and downs a shot of whiskey. Suddenly, a voice comes from behind him, "Hello, Neil…" When Neil turns around, Olivia rushes into Neil's arms, "Lily called… My sister… is she?" Neil explains the accident and says, "Somewhere out there… She's going to be okay. Someone's going to find her." When Olivia asks about the upcoming memorial service, Neil corrects here, "It's a prayer service." Olivia looks at the cup in Neil's hand and asks, "How long have you been sober now?" Neil admits to drinking again but claims, "I'm in control and I don't want the kids to know."
Olivia steps out for a minute, and Lily rushes into Indigo - happy to have found Neil. When Olivia returns, she hugs Lily and they both look at Neil with worry when he says, "I forgot to charge my cell phone. I better call the hospital, maybe they brought Dru in during the night." Although Olivia and Lily try to get Neil to leave, he refuses. As luck would have it, Victor shows up to lend his support.
Alone with Victor, Neil expresses why he's holding the prayer service, "I need to do it for the kids," and Victor encourages, "It means you haven't given up."
At the coffeehouse, while Lily shows Olivia some old pictures of Dru, Devon joins them and they all reminisce.
Amber goes to Daniel's and apologizes for her timing, but says, "Did you see the paper today?" She explains that she's worried that Cane will find out about her "Strangers By Night" page and asks Daniel to help her get rid of it. When Amber finally deletes out her webpage, she says, "Bye, bye, to bad decisions." Though Daniel agrees, and claims he got rid of all the saved porn material, he's clearly not ready to give up the porn site as easily!
Back at Jabot, with Jill by his side, Ji Min tell Jack that he has things under control - without the tie-in - then praises Jill for her business loyalty to Jabot. Jack becomes angered and demands to speak to Ji Min alone! Jill leaves…
Little does Jack know, Gloria and Kevin are watching and listening in from the security cameras… Jack gives Ji Min an order, "I'm not asking you, I'm telling you that the alliance between Jabot and NVP with be reinstated!" Just as Jack says, "Remember, you work for-" the speakers on Kevin's laptop cut off! Although they miss that part of the conversation, Gloria says, "Jack gave Ji Min an order! This is proof that they are working together!" With a smile, Gloria tells Kevin, "Call your brother, we hit the jackpot!"
When Amber meets Cane at the coffeehouse, he confesses his youthful criminal secrets. Amber laughs, "Too bad I missed out on all the fun." Cane can see she's distracted and asks, "What's got you so flustered?" Amber briefly thinks back to her live porn site, then explains, "It's just everything that's going on…"
At Jabot, Jill warns Kay, "If someone traces the ring you gave to Violet Montgomery back to you, even Michael won't be able to save you."
Back at the apartment, Devon, Daniel and Lily prepare for Dru's prayer service. As they leave the apartment, a shot of Daniel's keys shows that he did not throw away the extra drive containing the porn material!
When Michael arrives home, Gloria and Kevin tell him about what they saw in the Jabot conference room and Michael says, "This might be just what we need to destroy Jack's career."
At Indigo, Olivia tells Neil that the kids are on their way. After Neil admits to Victor that he doesn't know how he's going to get through the prayer service, Victor tells him to draw off of Dru's strength… When Victor goes out back to help Olivia, Neil takes another drink of whiskey…
