Update: 08/24 Deanna will make another appearance on September 4, 2007.

With Logan’s plan to leave Genoa City to dedicate her services to Doctors Without Borders, fans have asked, “Has Deanna Russo been let go from The Young and the Restless?”

It was reported that Deanna received a three year contract with the show back in June, but it appears after Tuesday’s episode (August 21, 2007) that her character will be off the canvas. However, if you recall, when Brad said to Logan, “I’ll miss you. Come back sometime,” Logan replied with a smile, “Maybe I’ll do that.” Since CBS doesn’t comment on contracts, we cannot be sure if Deanna is gone for good or if the show has other plans to bring Logan back at a later date. I dont want logan to lesve and i dont want logan to be with Brad, Brad is just not her type

I liked Deanna's job in her limited role she was given and I thought her character had much potential--with all the character flip-flopping it seems the writers are unsure of where to take storylines and are not putting much nuance into character development anymore :-(

My comment is on Noah Newman. I have watched Y&R since the first day it came on to CBS. I am a diehad fan, but I am not happy with the way Noah is talking to his Mother and other adults. He is being very disrepectful and I thing that needs to be calmed down. In real life a child shouldn't get away with that kind of behavioral no matter what he is going through. Now as for Logan she isn't one of my popular actress and Brad charcter is down the tubes. He used to be a very nice guy but everything has changed. I saw him in person years ago.

WHAT IS UP WITH THIS SHOW HERE LATLEY? I HAVE WATCHED THIS SHOW FOREVER, AND NOW ALL OF A SUDDEN THE EXCITEMENT IS GONE. CHARACTERS ARE DOING THINGS THEY WOULD NEVER DO AND IT'S LIKE EVERYONE IS TIRED OR SOMETHING!! DID YOU SAY THERE ARE NEW WRITERRS? MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS ARE ALL TALKING ABOUT HOW WEARY WE ARE TRYING TO FOLLOW THIS SHOW ANYMORE!!!

Please send Phyllis to jail or give her a box of tissue!SWEETHEART YOU DID THE CRIME AND THEN SOME...PLEASE GO SERVE YOUR TIME!!!!! I really hate that the writers turned Sharon into a nightwalker. I like her and she should be with Nick...not her granddaddy...oops I mean Jack. And somebody please slap NOAH....this kid is off the chains...I liked it better when he was a baby! Better yet send him off bring him back in about 10 years...

I'm getting tired of Phyllis, Amber, Daniel etc. These storylines have been all played out. Perhaps the writters are all on holidays -
As for Noah, I agree with Gert1953. I tape the Y&R and watch it later in the eveing. If Noah is on I'll fast forward just so I don't have to listen to him.

Yep, Nick and Sharon need to get back together, Phyllis stay on house arrest for a while, then she and Jack need to get back together. Jack doesn't need to get all bent out of shape because Phyllis didn't look at the PT. She wanted Summer to be Nick's. I WOULD TOO!! Oh, and I agree with everyone about mister Noah. He needs to learn some respect!
Furthermore, Brad and Vicky need to get knocked off their pedistals!

I hope Logan is gone. She is boring.... I love Phylis. She holds the show together. She is the best. I think Jack is the best male actor. He and Phylis are magic together. Nick is so wishy-washy that I think Phylis is too smart and too loyal for him. He runs around too much, just like Sharon. She could not be faithful to anyone. Phylis is good with Nick but even better with Jack.
