According to Nelson Branco of TV Guide Canada, Eric is willing to take a paycut, but he's very upset at how the network is handling the whole situation. Just like they did with Melody, the network wants to renegotiate an existing contract instead of waiting until it's expired. The actors' position are to let the current contract expire then write up a new one with the lower salary.

don't you think he paid enough, when his wife died in the car crash, and lost the two babies?

he's not overrated, you try to do good acting like he does, he's really a professional and so is Nicky.

you are perfectly correct, let those others go first.

Don't pick on Victor, its the writers who write his scripts, so he must act accordingly. He's a fantastic actor. The writers must change to write better scripts.

Don't get rid of Victor, as ratings will go down until they cancel the show.

You are perfectly correct. The show has been at the top for many years. Keep it there by not replacing Victor.

You hit the nail on the head, LET THE WRITERS GO IMMEDIATELY, not Victor.

Don't blame Victor, he does his acting with perfection, its the writers that have to go.

Posted by Madeleine at Tuesday, September 29 2009 07:43 AM

They can cut the budget costs by cutting out the not so good actors, not VICTOR.
