Most Soaps.com readers will remember when country music star Trace Adkins last appeared on The Young and the Restless - he played his song "You're Gonna Miss This" for Nick and Phyllis's anniversary.

Well, the record company didn't intend to make a video for this song, since it was merely an add-on to a Greatest Hits album, but Trace insisted on doing it, even on a low budget, and went back to his own hometown to film, using only people he knows!

Surprise, surprise - the video is now up for Video of the Year, and Male Video of the Year at tonight's CMT Music Awards! Check out the video on YouTube, and watch for an update if it wins!

I LOVE Trace Adkins! I'm sorry he didn't win the Video of the Year tho! BUT, He'll ALWAYS be # 1 in my book!! I hope he'll come back to visit & sing again sometime on Y & R!!
