Good luck to you Chris. You did a fantastic job and will be missed. Thank you for having the stregnth to stand on your convictions to do the right thing in the face of adversity. A lesson every parent hopes to impart on their child.

The negative publicity will pass and be forgotten. Will be looking forward to seeing you in whatever you do in the future.

Chris,
I admire your honesty and I respect the fact that stand behind what you believe in! You are setting a great example for your son. I also have a ten year old son and I firmly believe that everything we as adults do, they pick up on and are very impressionable! We will dearly miss you as Adam on the show and best, best of luck in your future endeavors.

Sorry, meant to say fact that YOU stand behind what you believe in.

Chris, I wish you the best of luck and I admire you for taking a stand for what you believe in. You did nothing wrong.

I hate the way the writers have ruined Adam's character. Here this young man grew up humble, on a farm with a loving mother and Cliff (a kind man). He was smart enough to get into and graduate from Harvard with honors. You can't tell me a man this smart would forge a diary and now spook and spy on a pregnant woman so he can get back at his obnoxious father.

Adam had more character than Nick and Vicki but these crazy writers have ruined his character.

I wish you all the best............

And I quote " Strength is measured by what we are willing to stand for, not by what we are willing to lie down and take" You go Chris Engen!!!

It's a shame that this industry has become so corrupt with lack of support in regards to ones own personal beliefs!

There's strength when you take a stand!!!!

Good Luck to you and God Bless!!!!

Chris,
An eloquent, truthful, courageous statement from you is one I admire and have the greatest respect.

Stand tall now that you have made your decision and let the chips fall where they may.

Be proud of your accomplishments on the show. I loved your character in the beginning, but the writers portrayed you as such a conniving, deceitful, cruel character, especialy in gaslighting Ashley that Adam became a character that I love to hate. You should have been portrayed as a strong, sensitive man who had many qualities like Hope. Instead, they made you into an incorrigible character. You were NEVER allowed to SHINE!

I wish you the very best luck in your future in acting, maybe on another soap or prime time shows. Will be waiting to see more of you. You are a great actor. I will truly miss your presence on the show.

Your replacement will NEVER be able to portray Adam as you did. You ARE Adam Wilson!

BRAVO to you for standing up for what your Catholic Beliefs and Dogma have taught you. What a wonderful role model you are for your son!

Pay no attention to the poster who condemned you and wished you only poor achievement.

I know what your morals are as well as you do. Always abide by them. You will RISE TO NEW HORIZONS.

Remember that "When God closes one door, He opens another one."

Blessings to you and your son.

Love,

Carol

I'm not saying this jokingly, only to ease your difficult decision with a laugh, but you should have had Victor speak on your behalf with him saying "He's not doing the part, You got that?! Really, no pun intended. You did the right thing by speaking up and people need to do what they're comfortable with. I think you are a great actor, I've always enjoyed watching you. I hope that you continue acting and maybe we will see you on another show one of these days. I wish you the best of luck, it's Y and R's loss and sad to say a great one. Take care.

Well Mr. Chris Engen,

Sorry to see you leave your character of (Adam Wilson/Victor Newman, Jr.) behind though.
However you did a wonderful job on the Y & R show!
I do understand that sometimes that an actress/actor must take a stand in what they're not comfortable or satisfied in developing their character's story line, that are presented by the script writers.
Clearly good actors are let go sometimes, so we as human beings in life must take a stand in something or this isn't America!
Good luck to you Chris Engen!
