YnRfanSD--no need to call us ignorant. I don't watch because of all the sleeping around. I will occasionally read the updates and such but I have totally lost interest. Sure, there are a broad range of viewers out there but this isn't one of them if/when the storyline does go gay. Like I said earlier, to each his own. But it won't be on my TV.

Also, that most, if not all, of the adult characters have had either a) pre-marital sex or b) adulterous sex."

I can't say I have come across any postings where the volume of comments have been an outrage - why I wonder b/c this is "normal" and "acceptable behavior" as we seem to see it displayed so often and b/c it's between a male and a female. So why would "they" care all that much that the action is adulterous and/or pre-marital as long as the action being done is by people of opposite genders. In my experiences, it has always been the ones who are lauding their "Christian Ways" at me and are the first to stab me in my back.

This new actor Michael resembles Victor in a way, with dark hair. Chris walked off the set,as i read. didn't follow his job request. Good luck Chris in what-ever you do.Welcome Michael.

Yes wouldn't it be great if the soap landscape of all shows not just the y&r could remain the white, straight glorified place that bigots love. Oh how horrible that there should be a portrayal of gay characters on the soaps. On that note why are there no asians on daytime television, why no middle easterns or other minorities from other regions of the world.
I would love to see more oreintations and diversity in daytime
If you cannot watch people who are different than you then you have a problem

it does not matter who play adam, i dont like him people who like to mess with others who have nothing to do with their problem is not my cup of tee if you have a beef with someone go directly to them meaning victory and jack not poor ash

I think they need to get rid of adam altogether. he is very spiteful and vindictive, doing those nasty things to ashley as payback to victor. Victor gave him a oppotunity to shine but he coose to fire neil and victoria instead of learning from them. he doesnt see his accountability for that or the forged diary that sent him to prison in the first place

I can only say one thing and this is my opinion since Chris is on this show
New writers!!! They have no glue what kind of a role Hope played!! With parents like Adams, they are so wrong to put him in this situation.Victor is a good Character and so was Hope. Unexperience writers in this line ,sorry

Geez, stop calling people ignorant, bigots and gay bashers. I never called anyone names. I am a Christian and I love all people of all races. Just because we believe in the Bible, God and Jesus doesn't make us bigots. People have a right to live their own lives. I just don't condone it. STOP CALLING PEOPLE NAMES and stop belittling everything that people say. We all have a right to our opinions and our beliefs.
