Well, I don't think a new face will make us love the "Adam Wilson" character. His storyline is horrible and unrealistic. The writers will lose more than actors if they continue wth these type of dumb storylines. As handsome and distinquished as Eric Braeden is, writers have his 75+ year old sperm fertilizing 50+ year old eggs. CRAZY!!! Anyway, best wishes to Chris Engen.

You would think Y&R writers would learn their lesson from when they got stupid and wrote Don Diamont out (Brad). They wrote that character out at a time where they could put him into several unfinished storylines...now Bold and Beautiful picked him up. There was so much more they could have done w/Adam...so many ways to write his part and make it interesting. Some other soap will pick Chris up in no time!

Lillichin - This has nothing to do with Christianity. If I see one more bashing comment such as that, I will ban you. There is a way to be diplomatic and then there is gay bashing and we are against gay bashing here on Soaps.com so please kindly ensure you do not do that.

Still, those rumours are all just that.

I didn't see any gay bashing in Lillichin's comments. She was just saying that she didn't want her children exposed to that kind of immorality. To each his/her own when choosing your kind of lifestyle. To the Christian community it is our belief that being gay is immoral. I have gay friends but do not like their lifestyles. I will not stop being their friend though. I don't watch a lot of TV that has a lot of violence, cursing, being just being plain mean and hateful. This is not the way to teach your children, especially teens how to grow up with morals. I will stand up with you Lillichin on your comment. Christians are a minority in this country and God sees it.

With all the fans saying they don't want a gay storyline, I can't believe the writers are still going to do this. Clearly this is not what the fans want to see, and yet they are still going to do it. All you have to do is look at other shows that have gone down this road and how the stories have bombed! GL, ATWT and AMC all come to mind.
These writers have destroyed the Adam Wilson character, which is very disappointing. When he first started on the show, he was so exciting to watch and we "loved to hate him"- now we just "hate him" for all the even things he is doing to everyone. The character has no redeeming qualities and is not enjoyable to watch anymore. At this point I just want Adam to walk out of the ranch and be hit by a bus and be done with it.

Too bad they just couldn't KILL him off. Ashley could have killed him by accident after he played another trick on her. Just a thought.

Look at the ratings of the GL and ATWT she is not the only one who stopped watching these soaps. If a person does not want to watch because they do not agree with what is being presented that is their choice.
