I will defintitely miss Chris Engen! I happen to like Adam, even though I am not a fan of this s/l and I think it was the wrong way to go...I can't wait to hear the real reason why Chris left but I am defintely going to give Michael a chance! So good luck and can't wait to see what you do with Adam!

Bravo Chris for having standards. I am so appauled that Christianity is often overlooked. The word of God is true and I am tired of television infecting our kids with homosexuality. I know that it is a reality but what is normal anymore. I do not want my children that are raised in a Christian home to be exposed to this life as if it is normal. I have no problem with individuals making the choices that are best for them, but to try to force that on someone is not proper. Chris should not have to walk out. I know you pay person's to act but enough is enough and they have lives outside of the soap world. I do not think that this would be a role that a person would be proud to show there children. Come on writers what are you thinking? He is a manly man, you have already made him blind this is over the top. I am disappointed to know that you all would loose such talent over this issue. Things that make you go umm

I have been disappointed with the story line the writers have given Adam Wilson. I loved Chris Engen and wish him well. The writers really erred in making Adam a dark character and now that Chris is leaveing I will FF the Adam Wilson story line.

I hate seeing these writers who are cramming this on daytime tv down our throats.

If the writers choose to go that route, I will either fast forward or stop watching.

Since Hogan Sheffer joined the writers, we know full well that he brought DOOL so low in the ratings with his ridiculous writing that it lost most of its viewers and I am one of them.

Maria Arena Bell, if you are reading this, PLEASE get rid of the SOAP-WRECKER! We have had enough of his DESTRUCTION! Don't allow this man to destroy this show that I have watched since its inception. Is it any wonder that we see on the side of our screen, "They're Canceling Y&R?" Vote now.

I hope that Chris Engen is treated fairly. I admire him for sticking to his not kissing a guy. That would totaly kill Adams sex appeal. He is a hottie. I quit watching As the World Turns because of the Noah storyline. Made me sick to watch it. Will quit watching Y& R if they put 2 guys kissing on it. Creeps me out.

Good luck to the actor but I never liked him. He did what he had to do and everyone else has to do the same thing. Stop watching the show if you don't like the s/l's.
It's a soap and it depicts what's happening in the world today. No one is asked to compromise their morals. But let's get real, we are not living in the dark ages and things have changed! There are those that can accept change and those that can't. Plain and simple, bottom line. JMHO!

I am mad at the writers for making him out to be such a jerk. Why couldn't he come into the story, have Nick and Victoria hate him...that's good ...but then make him likeable. Why couldn't Heather get pregnant instead of Ashley, and have a grandson for Victor and the jealously would be so great. Make us feel sorry for him. He is handsome and a good actor. Why did they want us to hate him so much. He could have been Victors right hand man and a lot could come out of the show, having the rest of the Newman clan hate him and jealousy is a great storyline. No, there is nothing he could do now to redeem himself, the writers have put him into the gutter.

I am deeply saddened about Engen's departure. I've loved him ever since the first time he appeared on screen. I always loved his character and the way he played it. I am one fan that will be very sad to not see him on y&r anymore. The writers should have given him a better storyline to work with since he's such a talented actor.
