Good luck, Chris in all your future endeavors.
You did a great job with the storyline of Adam.
In the beginning, I thought you would be great as Victor's son. As time went on, you were given the lines the WRITERS made you portray which were so ridiculous, making you a deceptive, cruel, revengeful character whom I have hated for a long time. I expected your character to have some of Hope's traits, but it never happened.
I will be waiting to find out the real reason you quit and walked off the set. If your refusal to kiss Rafe, the gay character is the reason, I must compliment you for standing up for your beliefs.
Stand tall and go on with your career. You are a great actor.

It will be harder to make his blindness believable wit those pretty blue eyes! The writers messed up if the kiss is true!

simscb; I raise my hat to Chris for standing by his morals and what he believes and his church! I always hated where the writers took his character! I don't blame him at all for leaving!

Chris Engen, I am so sorry that you are leaving the show. I too hate the direction that TPTB are taking your chacter. MY hat and heart goes out to you for standing by your beleaf and convictions. I am so sorry that TPTB thinls that making a gay storyline is what us viewers really want. I have stopped watching ATWT and Gl for the same reason that I don't want to see men making out with men or women making out with women. It is a shame that this is what our writers are coming up with. They cannot write a good story, but can shower us with porn. Good luck Chris and my God bless you with bigger and better roles.

I like Chris. Sorry to see him go. I don't know anything about the new gentleman, as I don't watch much nighttime TV. I wish them both the best - but I do have to say I am a bit shocked. I think everyone was just coming to like Chris as Adam... I also hope they haven't pigeon-holed the character - they have made him so evil in some ways -- it's kind of tough job for a new person to be walking into. Hopefully they will find some redeeming qualities...

I wish Chris will in his future work! He was terrific as Adam, but I have not been enjoying what the writers have done to a once smart and promising character.

holy freaking yes! i love this news. i'm probably the biggest VMARS fan ever and Michael Muhney is a great actor. He is freaking hot w/o his shirt and he can play a great bad guy. he was almost pure evil for his 3 years on VMARS. i'm so excited now!
