Y&R Guest, Dr. Will Kirby Update!

Tuesday, November 25 2008

Dr. Will Kirby (soaps.com)
Soaps.com has noticed that a certain Dr. Will Kirby, who did a guest spot as himself on Y&R in 2006, is doing very well for himself.

The "Big Brother" alumni, who once appeared in scenes with Jack [Abbott, Peter Bergman] on The Young and the Restless, is also a licensed dermatologist, as detailed in a prior Soaps.com article.

Dr. Will Kirby has been popping up on a great new Daytime television program called "The Doctors", where he gives medical advice and even demonstrates procedures, just like on his other successful television show, "Dr. 90210"!

Kirby appeared on the November 17, 2008 episode of "The Doctors," where he consulted and provided a diagnosis of jock itch (tinea cruris) for a patient. Dr. Kirby subsequently had another appearance on the show on November 20, 2008, in the capacity of Medical Director for Dr. Tattoff, and performed laser tattoo removal to rid a patient of an unwanted tattoo. He returned most recently on November 25 to remove a skin tag from a patient and to let viewers know that if they have skin tags "downstairs", as he called it, in the genital region, they may not just be your average skin tag, they could be due to HPV, which is the human papilloma virus, otherwise known as the cause of genital warts!

Soaps.com is excited to see Dr. Kirby doing so well, and we hope to see his handsome face in another cameo on Y&R - you never know!
