The Young and the Restless Hires Yani Gellman to Play Rafael!

Soaps.com readers, it looks like the role of Billy's friend, the hottie lawyer, Rafael, has been cast with actor Yani Gellman! We don't know much about the new Y&R character, other than the fact that Billy will bring him to town to help with a legal issue facing members of Lily's family. Billy, of course, is trying to score points with Lily by helping out.

Yani was born in Miami, Florida, and after moving around a bit, including stays in Spain and Australia, his family settled in Toronto, Canada.

The young actor started out in the business appearing on kids programs such as "Goosebumps" and "Animorphs," and eventually moving on to do film work, notably, "Urban Legends: Final Cut," "Jason X," and "The Lizzie McGuire Movie" with Hillary Duff!

Yani speaks Spanish, and holds a University degree in Political Science!

Soaps.com would like to welcome Yani to The Young and the Restless! We look forward to meeting his character, Rafe, this week!

OK. It may be Thanksgiving week, but we're having a HEATWAVE! We've been discussing hotties on the Peace Pipe thread, and here we've got ANOTHER! Welcome, Yani! Looks like you'll fit right in. And while you're at it, PLEASE give Heather a run for her legal money!

Well how great 2 have another newbee actor, on Y & R!

Congratulations 2 Yani Gellman, for landing such a great role as Rafael!

This should very interesting for us 2 watch and Lily 2 have a new man in her life perhaps other than Billy n Cane.
Oh now we'll have another lawyer 2 contend with our Legal Eagle Michael Baldwin.

Now i just bet when Heather, sees Rafael she'll drop Adam as if he was a 2 bit dime piece that was left behined for the street sweeper or bum 2 find. (lol)

Now he would be hot for Lilly....if the watchers will give the guy a chance....everytime someone comes on the show, people moan and groan so much about how they don't like them...We don't give them a chance!

I am glad to see this handsome young actor and hope his part will be to fall in love with Lily and be faithful to her!
Billy is no good and should be with Chloe and HIS baby she is having. Cane should come out the LOSER FOR BEING SO STUPID!
