Cam Gigandet has also landed a role in the Indie drama “Five Star Day,” in which his character will lose everything and have to face the future of his life head-on. His co-star is Jena Malone, and the film is directed by Danny Buday, who has yet to announce a release date.

Soaps.com readers, remember Cam Gigandet? He was the actor originally cast as Daniel Romalotti on The Young and the Restless. The role was recast with the current Daniel, Michael Graziadei after it was decided that Cam wasn't a good fit for the part.
Cam didn't let that stop him though. He has gone on to play television roles in "Jack and Bobby" and "The O.C.". He has done several films, including "Who's Your Caddy?," "Making Change," and "Never Back Down".
Cam's new role in the movie "Twilight," set to open in theaters next week, may be the one that catapults him to a new level of stardom, however, as he has been turning up in magazines like People and Men's Health.
Cam plays a vampire named James in the new film, which was adapted from the popular book by the same name.
The actor also has other films currently in the works, including, "Pandorum," "Silver Cord," and "Keronsene Cowboy".
