I am so glad this election is OVER with. I hope now the phones will be silent for a while. I wish the incoming President well. Now, we sit back and watch if he will work his magic as promised. I am most concerned with the issues, because the President doesn't act alone up there, and those we put in the government offices must come to the plate and prove to us that they are also willing to make a proper change for the people of America. There is much to do and we as Americans now have to pull together and work for same cause. To restore peace among our own, and to combat the lawlessness that has overcome out cities across the country. So we must continue to keep getting informed and make sure those we put in office across the board are doing the job we the citizens expect and pay for.

The interview was in France with these actors so this is the reason for the responses. I don't much care to hear actor's promoting candidates nor propositions for that matter. I know its a free country and freedom of speech etc. but they could offend their fans and where are they if their fans decide to boycott their work, because of those actions?

I agree with Monarch. In a perfect world people in the media's personal opinions would not effect how their fans look at them because they're entitled to their opinions just like everyone else, however in reality there are a LOT of people out there that do look at their fav. celebrity differently after they state how they feel about something if that person does not agree with it. So it's true, as sad as it is, those people who mentioned they support Obama DID lose fans who support John McCain, that's just how it is. I think Michelle handled it perfectly and made a great point. Ya gotta ignore what's said in the media and pay attention to what the candidates offer and make your own choice, and by saying that she was saying her honest opinion while also keeping all of her fans, it's the smart move for a celebrity. A celebrity never asks to be a role model and then gets bad publicity for living thier life the way they wanna live it while influencing younger people in maybe not a great way. A celebrity should have to right to voice thier opinion but at the same time I hope they keep in mind how that opinion can actually effect how their biggest fans think of them. Cuz that's just how it goes. I think politics should stay out of tv shows just cuz it DOES effect ratings. Look how the view lost so much of their ratings since favoring Barrack Obama, same goes for Oprah. While it's great to voice your opinion it's just not wise in that industry to bring it on the show. No matter which candidate you're favoring.

Oh, I'll not stop watching any of my Soap Operas because of what opinion they express, but some people do take these things very seriously and may. I make my own mind up. I watch these stories for entertainment only not information on politics. The only reason I may stop watching a program will depend on their subject or content. So far a I am down to two now. LOL
