It seems that Y&R continues to shuffle things behind the scenes, as it has been announced that Maria Arena Bell has been promoted to Co-Executive Producer! She will remain as a writer in addition to her new responsibilities. Congratulations Maria!

Soaps.com can confirm that Y&R's Executive Producer, Josh Griffith has officially left the show.

Josh was given a going-away party by the show that was attended by most of the cast and crew. Media reports are that Josh was a really good guy and was well-liked at Y&R. It has also been said that Josh had interesting ideas and was very approachable. By all accounts, Josh will be missed at the show.

The new Executive Producer at Y&R is Paul Rauch. Of course as Soaps.com readers know, Paul is no stranger to daytime television. He will bring the benefit of his experiences as Executive Producer of Guiding Light , One Life to Live, and Another World, with him as he takes the helm!

Congratulations, Paul, on your new position with The Young and the Restless! Soaps.com wishes Josh Griffith the best of luck in his future ventures!

Hey I like Phyllis,, and she is married to Nick and she is as much invested. Phyllis is not like Sabrina,, Phyllis had money, she was not a secretary. Now, Gloria need to give Jack back his company, cause if it was not for her ,, he would not be worst than he is now. But I must say he is like the Simon Cowell(American Idol), tell it like it is or you think it is attitude. Now, I would like to believe there was something going on we the public not know of like a scheme involving Sabrina and David??? I love this soap and I set my day around my Y/R,,please dont stop !!!

WHO IS JOSH GRIFFITH ON THE Y & R? WHO DOES HE PLAY OR DID HE PLAY? I HOPE HE WAS ONE OF THE LITTLE KIDS.......I NEVER MISS THEM MUCH BUT I SURE HATE LOSING AN ACTOR ON THE Y & R THAT WE'VE HAD FOR AWHILE. I LOVE THE WAY GLORIA AND HER OLD MAN CONIVE AND SCHEME. I LIKE JILL AND THE WAY HER AND MRS. C GET INTO IT. I ADORE KEVIN AND JENNA AND ESPECIALLY MICHAEL AND LAUREN. I HEAR ASHLEY'S COMING BACK, YUK. I'M SORRY, SHE HAS JUST ALWAYS BORED ME STIFF, RIGHT ALONG WITH DANNY ROMAROUNDLOTTY. I REALLY LIKE DAN HIS SON, AND WISH HIM AND BLONDIE (CAN'T THINK OF HER NAME) WOULD FINALLY KISS AND MAKE UP. i want Heather and Adam to stay for sure. they make sense.. and Amber and Daniel.. Glo and Jeff are great but icky Vicky and JT are obnoxious.. Jack and Phyliss belong together, always conniving, Sharon is boring,ugh! Neil and his acting stink, NO Dru, no Tyra either..boring.. Cane needs a lobotomy, his brainlessness..Chloe is at least spicing things up..

OMG more drama...when did Paul do Another World? There was a point where all of the old actors were killed off or left the show and I stopped watching it same with Guiding Light which is unwatchable now.
