ONCE AGAIN.... Can-dance, you are on such a roll with the 'Rant! Here's a high-5! Just noticed that your byline is Candace Young... Anyone ever call you Candace Young-and-
Restless?

Bear in mind, I don't watch. I rely on your updates, other sites around the 'Web, and the occasional look at an eppy online. Nonetheless, I am a fan, and I'm as addicted to Y&R as Nikki appears to be addicted to Victor while floundering on a Mexican beach!

What a segue! Nikki's performances were classic, off-the-chart Soap acting! MTS has us in that state of belief/nonbelief that every actor strives for - giving us a performance that blurs the line of where the character ends and where the actor begins. She leaves no doubt in the viewers' minds that she wants Victor, can't live with him... that she's as sucked into his abusive treatment of her as she is repulsed by it. She has us throwing rotten fruit at the screen... and given the direction of her story right now, that is just as she and TPTB were hoping for! Just give her the stinkin' Emmy already!

Here are some others: Chris Engen and Elizabeth Hendrickson... TPTB have definitely struck the jackpot finding them! Doing such a good job being sooooo bad... now THEY'D be a good couple to watch! HEY.... maybe ADAM's the booty call! Sure, he seems happy playing house with Heather, but we also see this abusive, power-craving snotrag... There's no guarantee that he's spent EVERY night with Heather...

WHEN OH WHEN are they going to develop serious screen time for Brad? I'd LOVE to see Brad and Neil in a love triangle with Karen! Many fans found Karen flat with the whole Tyra issue, but I do love Nia Peeples. Maybe when Tyra returns, Karen will attempt to cut herself loose from Neil and go to the GCAC... where she'll run into Brad at the bar, because he ALWAYS seems to be picking up women there... and of course, because Neil never really cared for Brad, it makes him jealous, which makes Tyra think twice about Neil... OH MAN! Then they put Tyra with BRAD! Oh, the possibilities! See what happens when my brain starts reacting to the caffeine?! It's downright dangerous. I'm in the wrong profession...

Short weeks stink. I never liked tennis anyway. This is much more stimulating! Once again, kudos!

I have to agree. I have not watched this show for weeks because of this silliness and the only reason I watched yesterday was because of Victor coming back and lowering the ax on Adam's power hungry behind and the kiss of course. I can bearly stomach GC's free prostitute and the fact that she has put something in the water of GC that's made everyone just plain stupid. The whole storyline is insulting to anyone who has half a brain.

I couldn't wait for Victor to give it to Adam. Such power without raising his voice. It shows Adam sitting at the desk telling Neil "hope there's no hard feelings". I hope Neil & J T escort Adam and Brad out of the building with security guards like they did Neil. I am confused as to why Victor is upset with Nick and Victoria for their actions while he was away. They showed they love him by caring for him and not the business (oh, maybe that's why he's mad ....he'd rather them fight for the business even though they were respecting his last wishes)

Adam decides to move back to NY and ask Heather to go with. However Jack makes him an offer in which they team up to bring down Victor. Jack loses the Magazine in coin toss to Nick and Victor loans Nick to funds for the purchase (Sharon's doing which I'm sure will create difficulties for her & Jack). ----

I was hoping Victor, Nick & Victoria would bond as a family...maybe it's too early to tell. I don't think Victor and Nikki will be together for awhile. Victor needs time to himself. I LOVE Love love Victor! I can't wait to see what he's up to.

I think Billy will be Liam that's with Amber. He will show up at the Art showing in NY. There are so many possibilities the writers have with the Billy s/l.

Can't wait to watch on Monday.

I am so happy Adam finally got what he deserved. I can hardly wait until Little Miss Chloe gets hers. It's hard to believe that 2 horrible people came from such sweet mothers. Did they get any of the "courtesy" gene?

Great rant!! So glad they didn't drag out the "Victor is Dead" s/l. He's Baaaaccckkk!!! and taking names!!! I loved the scene with Michael. He couldn't wait to tell about Adam's misdeeds and being power hungry...great that Victor caught Adam and Heather together...a change of pants was needed. I was on the edge of the sofa with this episode. It was great. Now if they could hurry it along with Cane finding out the baby is not really his and Chloe getting it , it'd be great. Seems that Cane could've got Paul to do some snooping on her to see what's in her past and then threaten her with it, only to find out it's not his baby after all. But it kills me how she treats Esther. But you best believe Katherine won't have anyone mistreating her Esther so Chloe better watch out. And I'm so glad that Victor put Neil back in charge. I like him with Karen much more than Tyra so I hope they don't bring her back...no offense to the actress, I just prefer Neil with Karen.

I like Nikki's acting, but why does she let Victor treat her like that. He is such a control freak and has alienated his children before because of it. As far as Adam goes, I'm glad he got put in his place, but Victor really dropped the ball on his parental duties there and maybe thats why is is the way he is.

Cane is pretty dumb to think its his baby when the test said that it was only a 75% chance that the baby is his. You make people pass like they are dumb, writing them lines like that. He must be embarrased to act like he believes it.

It was very stupid to knock off Sabrina too. Thank God Victor wasn't kicked off, he makes the show. I wouldn't mind if Adam got knocked off, the evil snake.

Candace I liked your views this week and also I was just clapping for my favorite Victor Sr. I loved it when he put Adam Wilson/akaNewman jr. In check!

Yes I agree he has the potential to be an abuser and I do hope Paul picks up on that as well. As for Skye's killer Ithought that was linked to Chow? But we still don't know the real Adam either.?

I am disappointed with this episode. First, Adam is not a bad character. He was a soon who just lost a mother and found a father. His siblings have NOT welcomed him, but instead treated him like a rival. Typical of the brats, Victoria and Nick! Just like they were mad about Sabrina, if it is not what they want then they don't like it - BRATS! Adam is trying to make a place where clearly very few are welcoming him in. Victor was wrong to fire Adam, Victor continued to allow people to treat Adam like he was inferior. OF COURSE, when he had the upper hand he dealt blows. That's what you do when you get a chance to have that power. It's not that he didn't grieve for his father, but Adam moves from one thing to the next to keep from grieving - that is his grieving process. Look at how he left the family ranch when his mother died. Move on so you don't have to feel. I am going to be really disappointed in Victor's character if he doesn't fix this issue. If you want to have children from mulitiple women then it is your responsibility to make them bond, even if it is your precious Victoria which I think is the biggest hypocrite and brat! If he doesn't I hope Adam finds a way to stick it to ALL of them!!
