Y&R's Darcy Rose Byrnes Update! Thursday, September 04 2008

Now that The Young and the Restless has announced that Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) is coming back to Genoa City, we have to assume that she will be accompanied by her daughter, Abby, who is played by wonderful young actress Darcy Rose Byrnes.

Soaps.com recently received an update from Darcy's dad, letting us know what she has been keeping busy at, and we wanted to pass it along!

Soaps.com learned that Darcy recently wrapped an episode of "Medium", which stars Patricia Arquette. She will appear in an episode called "A Taste of Her Own Medicine", and will get to act with Blythe Danner! There is no official airdate released for this episode yet.

We also discovered that she has been booked to return to "How I Met Your Mother" as Lucy (Stella's daughter) for episodes 4, 5 & 6 of this season (shooting in September.) The sitcom stars Neil Patrick Harris, Alyson Hannigan, and Bob Saget, as well as having featured former Y&R actress Lyndsey Fonesca (ex-Colleen).

Additionally, Darcy is also currently filming a movie called "A Thousand Words", which is due out in 2009!

Soaps.com is hoping that we get to see Darcy really soon on The Young and the Restless. It will be a wonder if she can fit it into her schedule! Go Darcy!
