Soaps.com readers, we can tell you that various French media outlets, in conjunction with Sony Television, are reporting that the names of the participants in the Y&R Paris location shoot, scheduled to take place in October, are NOT those that you might have been guessing!

The location shoot was announced last month, but the names of the actors were not released at that time. The location, Paris, France, was chosen to correspond with the 20th Anniversary of the show's debut in that country, where it is known as "Les Feux de l'Amour".

Without further ado (drum roll please), the actors names scheduled to appear are: Eric Braeden (currently presumed dead Victor Newman), Eileen Davidson (Ashley Abbott), Sharon Case (Sharon Collins Newman Abbott), and Joshua Morrow (Nick Newman).

So what is going to go on overseas is anyone's guess, but it certainly is a strange mix of characters, given current circumstances on Y&R - Victor is missing and presumed dead, Ashley has been living in L.A. and has had little to do with Genoa City of late, Sharon is married to Jack Abbott, and Nick is married to Phyllis! This can only mean a real shake-up is in store for these characters' storylines between now and November (which is when the scenes would air) and that's okay by us!

Could these two past Y&R couples be reuniting? Could there be additional actors added to the location shoot before all is said and done? Is Ashley the person that Victor called from the Mexican bar? These are all very intriguing questions that may or may not be answered as the story plays out in France.
