As always Candace you see things the same as I. Once again your sumation (is that a word?) of the weeks events are accurate, funny and a pleasure to read.

I agree Jana and Kevin's wedding was a hoot. I loved the scenery and how far out a stoned Gloria's eyes bugged out of her head seeing Lowell.

If I had to rant about something it would be that Cane should have shoved that ring down Chloe's neck instead of placing it in her hands. But then again everyone knows how I feel about this s/l...*rq rolls her eyes.

I am a huge Adam fan, but I couldn't help but laugh when Victoria stuck it to him and said "meet your own boss". I can't figure out if Adam is a good guy, a bad guy or simply misunderstood, either way he knocks my socks off, hubba hubba...

Great rant. Hit the nail right on the head. I don't know if you have any pull with the writers, but if you do, PLEASE!!!! PLEASE!!!! PLEASE!!! have them cut the Cane/ Lily/ Chloe story line short. It's ridiculous and aggravating to see Chloe get her way. Someone needs to put her in her place and smack that smile off her face. As much as I LOOOOOOOVE Y&R, I'm really considering not watching it anymore just cause I can't stomach this whole s/l.

Love your rant and re-cap! What a week!!! I actually realized that I stopped breathing during the wedding today as soon as Gloria said "Lowell". I couldn't take the next breath until the end of the previews. Wow- even though I kinda knew it was coming the timing was such a SHOCK. Bad way for a wedding to start, but a excellent theater.
The Chloe/Cane/Lily mess is creepy. Chloe is already an unfit mother. Everyone notices how she talks about the baby like its an object (her 401k, or Chancellor stock options). How can marriage to someone you depise be good for a child??? How can Lily even think that??? Neil... don't get me started... He is not even Lily's bio dad. He should have a more rational take on the situation and a bit of empathy for Cane. The whole situation is soooo creepy- Cane was raped, and how could a man in that deep of unconciousness actually make a baby???... unbelievable! Also, the DNA said he was in the group of possible positive-not definitive. How could Lily profess to love him so much and then tell him to marry someone they both HATE? That story line is making me crazy.

okay, now Jill is giving a party for chloe...i don't believe this. You know Jill was just like chloe sleeping with people husband. I would keep her butt in the back like she's some kind of dog...watch out for the witch because she will get in that house some kind of way...Chloe has too much power going on....

I haven't watched Friday yet, been difficult keeping up with my stories when the olympics are on (go U.S.A.!!!). BUT, I LOVED Jana's bridal shower, LOVED Mrs. C "I already have a billion dollars" response. HA HA HA. Loved that Daniel came in a covered Amber up. Was my favorite story all week, besides trying to figure out what Victor is up to. Anyways, everything else is just not that good. And Candance, I agree, Adam was HOT HOT HOT HOT!!! I am so glad that the love scenes are going back to the youth. The geriatric love scenes are a little hard to stomach (and I am darn near that age myself, no offense to anyome out there!!). Wanted to slap Nikki when she boasted "I am Mrs. Victor Newman". I wish she would stop with the booze, either do it or don't, bored with watching her toy with it. Have a good week-end you all!!!

Oh yeah, loved the stripping swami and the scene between Kevin and Michael. Everything else (I won't mention names cuz it is what EVERYBODY ELSE IS TALKING ABOUT) totally blows.

~Chloe/Cane/Lily - I dont understand this s/l one bit. I do NOT understand WHY no one questioned that DNA test. They were all so quick to throw Cane under the bus. Just goes to show u that they never wanted him with Lily. And to tell u the truth I dont even think Lily is sure she wants to spend her life with him. What woman is gonna toss away the man she loves to supposively 'do the right thing'? GMAB! They all know what a liar Chloe is...why not investigate this more? Why give up so easily?? AND Jill...someone with so much power & money is just gonna except this? Does she not know the history of Chloe's games & lies???? WAKE UP PEOPLE!!!! Maybe Katherine will talk some sense into them....


~The Newmans - Another 'eye roller'... NOW they wanna be their for their Dad? GMAB!! Victoria standing there like she knows what shes doing..kicking Jr. out of the Ranch! Bad..Bad..Bad..decision..she will regret that one...And while i really dont want Adam running NE, as much as i love him, I was thinking that Neil would step up to the plate....i guess i was wrong. Vic will not like this...Nikki, Nick & Victoria?? LMAO...They ALL turned their backs on him..NOW they wanna help? Why so he can put them back in his WILL? *rollin my eyes* Nick needs to go back to RS with his evil wife..Nikki needs to go visit Katherine...Neil needs to run things @ NE and Victoria can go back to what she was doing there before she left. Adam same thing, continue what he was doing, under Victoria. If they love & care about their father so much, they need to do WHAT HE WOULD WANT.

~Kev/Jana/Michael - I LOVE these two together! I wasnt for it at first, but after they changed Jana's character around, i have grown to love them as a couple. ;-)

Michael was so sweet in his scenes with Kevin & than with Jana before he was about to walk her down the aisle...very touching. :')

~Amber/Daniel/Colleen - I LOVE these two! Great chemistry..and i cant wait to see them back together again!! But Colleen, ive had enough of her. She has some nerve doesnt she? And as much as i love what she said to Chloe (cuz i dont like Chloe LOL)---I thought she was hypocritical for saying that! How easy she forgets her past actions huh? *rolling eyes*

~Phyllis/Sharon - I cant stand Phyllis even more now...she is taking it too far...between the way she talked down to Sharon to the way she treated Amber!! I will be happy when Karma comes back to strike her down!!!

~Vic - this is the ONLY s/l right now that i look forward too. Now only if we can see more of that!! LMAO!~~~~I wanna see more than bar scenes..maybe some gun firing..and dead mobsters..but ONLY after we get some answers.... ;-) I wanna see Walter suffer...hang him by a meat hook or something while TGVN makes him answer some much needed questions!! ;-)

I really HOPE that the writers tweak some of these s/l's to make it more believable for us viewers. Starting with the whole Chloe/Cane/Lily s/l. IMHO, I really want Cane to get so upset with these 2 girls. One of em is setting him up & the other turned her back on him. I wanna see the writers toughen up his character, enough with the wussy Cane. We need the powerful & sexy Ethan...cuz we know its in there somewhere!!! ;-)

I just want to say that I don't like what you have done with Cane and Lily this is wrong again!!!!! This person can't have anything in her life to be RIGHT/// I know It's a BLACK things right You don't want to see a Black woman with a White MAN OKAY SO that mean that You want all the BLACK peoples out there to STOP WATCHING the Y&R!!!!!

I definitely do not like this story line with Lily, Cane and Chloe. That is such a stupid thing. Cane despite Chloe and yet he is willing to marry her. The writer needs to keep the story real. Chloe had things too easy. They should keep Cane and Lily together. I do not think Cane should marry Chloe.
