I'm a fairly new watcher to Y&R (less than a year) very sad that it was decided to write Sabrina out of the story so quickly. He was so refreshing to actually have someone on the story who had no hidden motives. I suppose this was to bring Victor and Nicki back to gether eventual. Too Bad!!!

Great job Canadace! Really good read. I do agree that the events of Sudden Impact has really left more questions than answers and given the ridiculous way the writers handled the vasectomy debacle, I am not sure at this point if the niggling questions are actually that or just sloppy writing.

Time will tell I guess. Let's cross our fingers.

I loved watching the interaction of Sabrina with everyone else..I thought extremely refreshing. But her early demise, causing Victor to spiral madly, may just open the opportunity for SEVERAL different story lines and scenerios. Certainly plenty of reason to tune in expectantly..

Thanks Sunnyflower!

The Sabrina death was sad, but it left me wishing we had known more about her. I like my characters well-rounded! Unfortunately, the things about Sabrina that would have made her a more interesting character will likely only come out now that she's gone.

I never really liked Sabrina til this week when I saw that Victor really did love her...All this time I thought he liked her and was just trying to tick pole cat off..Candace, loved what you had to say...Lots of things to ponder right now in what direction the writers are taking us in...I have thought for quite some time that eventually Jack and Phyllis would get back together cause those 2 really did love each other once and I don't think they ever truly got over those feelings and by the reaction I saw today in Jacks eyes that is a hint to what Im saying..Nick and Sharon still love each other too...Everybody get ready to see these 4 find there way back to there exes...

So can we assume David Chow also killed Carmen?

I agree with Calliope. Too bad that Nikki can't find love and acceptance from a good and decent man. Paul might be the only one in GC to fit that category.

I think the writers should have paired Sabrina up with Bradski instead of Victor. She could have known history on Bradski. It would have been interesting to have seen Vikki's reaction to her ex-husband and her BFF hittin' the sheets. Sabrina wouldn't have had to bite the big one and the writers wouldn't have come up with Victor getting the shot gun retooled to shoot live rounds instead of blanks.

I agree that the David Chow character's inner conflict, if he had any, wasn't really revealed too much? I think there was too much substance regarding David that we, the viewers, should have seen at least another month of David unraveling...if we had come to know more about why he gambled rather than see him either lie about calling his sponsor or actually going to a GA meeting a few times--there probably would have been more sympathy for his predicament of being a mob flunky. Then again--how much sympathy can you have for a hired hit man, but oh well...

Also, we never really got to see the depth of 'love' he had for Nikki...then again, love won't cause you to put a lethal dose of morphine in your spouse's drink to kill...lol..overall, I don't buy there was real love between Nikki and David--I think he was her rebound, and she loved him for not having any of Victor's sour puss qualities...

I think Victoria's words to Sabrina should have been more than a memorable lunch in Florence...though I can see the 'living with this guilt the rest of my life' angle the writers presented, I think Victoria should have been her straight-forward self and just apologized right then and there...why say 'see ya next time?' Made no sense to me...

Adam is a dweeb! A bratty nasty dweeb who was rude rather than kind to Nick and Victoria...if he grows up to be miserable like Victor, who thinks money and power are the foundation of love and loyalty, then Adam's future doesn't look to promising...he needs to find his mother's Hope genes and use those before he turns into Darth Vader!

I think Sharon supporting Jack about printing new copies of the magazine was a wise business decision. Who hasn't bought a copy of a magazine that had a celebrity article in it that wasn't glowingly positive? Phyllis will NEVER be in a position to chastise someone's moral compass---she of the paternity test switching, husband drugging, running folks over with her car, sleeping with married men, etc, kind! PUHLEEZE!

I'm not head over heels with Jill, but I don't fault her for telling Nikki how she felt...I personally hope she is able to take over the company AND find out about Jeff's/Gloria's plans to buy the Jabot stock...Jill wouldn't be Jill without foiling someone's devilish plans back on them.

Hoosiergirl, I like your idea about Sabrina and Brad. Too bad the writers didn't think of it before mis-matching her with Victor!

Can we PLEASE wrap up the Gloria face cream story? As evil as Jack can sometimes be, Jabot is his family legacy.

And what about the teasers a few months ago that something would be revealed from Brad's past? There was even a hint that Adrian and Jana might be connected somehow. Has that been forgotten?

The writers still STINK, but you are a good mediator Candace!
The David chow story ended raggedy because as you said Candace, we know he is no good, but i thought maybe he would have shown tru love to Nikki by Dying to save her, and confessing on his death bed. The way they have him riding on her guilt through dreams is very soory and it leaves open that he may return later theory which I hate!

Victor/Sabrina ended nasty too because really it is if a stranger showed up in town and died with only a few clues as to who she really was(call her Jane Doe). She was no more of a mismatch to him than Sharon is to Jack in my opinion, so I still blame the writers for that pregnancy screw up because they should have done their homework!

In all, they get a D- from me because they didn't tie up loose ends, they TERMINATED connections!
