I just want to say after today's show (8-8-08), I can not stomach to watch this incredibly ridiculous story line with Chloe. I am 37 and have watched Y&R a long time. I feel that I have seen it all. Why the writers have chosen this played out route for Cane and Lily I can't understand. I think writing the story this way will have an opposite effect on viewers, namely they will lose interest and stop watching. Viewers so want Cane and Lily to have a happy ending and this is what we get. Unless things change quickly I won't be watching anymore.

Many thanks for all the wonderful updates. I am a 71 year old, retired English/Literature teacher with 46 years experience and southern belle and am able to read them as early as 7:00am. I read them when I have my first cup of coffee. You cannot imagine how much I appreciate all you do.

My response to some of the rantings are quite a few. I agree with what you expressed so elegantly. My first rant is my disgust with the firing of Raya Meddine, who brought out the softer, loveable, gentler Victor. I loved her character from the first day she appeared on the show. She was, indeed, a breath of fresh air, beauty, intelligence and lots of common sense as far as business was concerned. I do believe that she loved Victor and brought him much happiness that he has truly not known since Hope. He deserved to be happy. I mourned with him upon her death and feel so much sympathy for Victor.

Too bad the writers didn't do their homework re: reversal of vasectomy. They made a grave mistake in firing her. I do hope she received compensation because of being fired before the end of her three year contract. She was only on air for a few months. That was/is a slap in her face, an insult to her capability as an actor.

When in the h*** will Gloria and Phyliss pay their dues for all they have done? I am so sick of waiting for this.

Please break Chloe's contract. I believe she is a hooker who has no morals and belongs at the funny farm. She is absolutely nuts. I cannot stand her character.




Raya will find work, I am certain, because she is a great actor who possesses many wonderful qualities. If she does, I am considering leaving Y&R and following her career.

I have been an avid viewer of Y&R since its inception and it has been my favorite until the dismissal of Sabrina. I am very disappointed with this storyline.

When will Jill learn about JiMin's connection to David Chow and Walter and the Mob? That is something she should learn about too I think. And when Victor learns about Nikki's being posioned he will feel different about how he reacted during those days. I hope somehow Victor learns that the baby Sabrina was carrying wasn't his, but Phillpe's. Only then will he too see he acted foolishly, and then and only then will he and Nikki get together again. Only this time around I hope the writers mature the whole family.
Adam, has an agenda..he was hurt about not being in the Newman family, but that was his mother's wishes not Victor's. Victor had always been in touch with Hope over the years in regard to his son Adam. I think Hope did that wrong, the child should have know about his real father and her reasons at the time for not telling him about him. I think that Victor was involved in paying for Adam's education behind the scenes like he does most of his things. He managed some how to be in his son's life financially without Hope knowing about it.

When Adrian came to town was to uncover information on those stolen art, that Brad/George's mother had. I wonder if they are the undercover stolen art ring? What was the connection there? Confusion, nothing was ever really finished on that S/L either. Just that Brad killed some people in the process, and he never got discovered, because Paul and JT kept that from the authorities themselves. hm,hm, hm.

How about pairing Billy with Amber? Katherine would probably be the one to introduce them to each other. She knows Amber's changed heart and would like to see both her and Billy happy. That would be something to think about too.

why don't they put Chloe&Adam together , they deserve each other.They could get along very well together. as for Brad i think he will get what's coming to him when Jill finds out about the article he wanted Jack to do on her.Ihope Lily is mature enough to stick with Cane instead of running home to her daddy !!!!!!!!!

David loved Nikki as long as she didn't start doubting him. When he no longer could control her, he took out a Life Insurance on her, order the Morphine and when he called and spoke to the Insurance Agent and learned the Life Insurance was in affect he decided to drug her and make it look like she was drinking again. And the rest is history.
