Soaps.com readers know by now that Amber went off the deep-end after seeing a photo of Daniel partying with a groupie in Dublin. Phyllis left it on her computer screen, and asked Amber to turn it off - knowing that her son's girlfriend would be sure to get an eyeful! Since Daniel hasn't been communicating with her while on tour, Amber jumped to conclusions, and promptly went out to tie one on! She and Professor Adrian Korbel (Eyal Podell), recently dumped by Colleen Carlton (Tammin Sursok), ended up drowning their sorrows together and having sex. In the aftermath, Amber has to face not only Phyllis, who finds Amber and Adrian at Restless Style together, but also Daniel, when he returns home from touring with his father. She decides to take a novel approach (for Amber) and tell him the truth. In the ensuing drama, Amber is dumped, and on July 23rd, they wind up calling in to "Loveline"!
Michael Graziadei and Adrienne Frantz will be actual celebrity guests on the real "Loveline" as an extension of this taping. "Loveline" is a Los Angeles-based radio program which offers advice on personal issues ranging from addiction and illness to relationships. It is hosted by Dr. Drew Pinsky, who is also featured on Discovery Health's "Strictly Dr. Drew", and hosts the reality program "Celebrity Rehab". His co-host is KROQ disc jockey, Stryker. Frantz and Graziadei will be on Monday, July 21st at 10:00 PM PT.
Expect the July 23rd episode of Y&R to be an interesting one, as Daniel and Amber, in the process of trying to sort through the mess they're in, decide to call in to the radio talk show and enlist the help of Dr. Drew and Stryker. As the pair start going through all of the ups and downs they have endured together, things may get a little hairy!
