Soaps.com has learned that Vincent Irizarry (David Chow) has confirmed on his MySpace Page that he will be leaving Y&R. Since it recently came to light that the trouble-plagued David Chow is the person responsible for the murder of Ji Min Kim, many fans have speculated that Vincent's time with the show might be coming to a close. There was no timeline provided for his exit, but sources say that David's behavior will continue to spiral out-of-control as his storyline wraps up.

Emmy-nominated Vincent, a native of Queen's, NY, joined The Young and the Restless in November of 2006, with his first scenes airing in January of 2007. His character had been involved in a romantic relationship with Carmen Mesta (Marisa Ramirez), who was soon murdered. What was originally intended as a 13-week run, has lasted until the present-time, as David became campaign manager for Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) in her bid to become Senator. David ended up falling in love with Nikki, and she with him, but David's addiction to gambling, and the criminal act he has committed in order to fund it, will seemingly be his undoing!

Soaps.com would like to wish Vincent best of luck in his future endeavors. With any luck at all, the soap veteran will turn up on another of our favorite daytime dramas very soon!

we all know that victor can't have any children because he got clip. so the baby that sabrina have myst be for the gentlemen that she had an affair with in parish. And J.T needs more air time. he needs more action let him get into fights and win. Let him get out of the investigation business because he is not solving anything. let him begin to carry a brief case and do more roles like the rest of them. Like Brad and nickolas

Have Nikki lost her mind, why would she put David in Charge of fund raising. That like leaving the Bank door open.
She paid out thousand of dollars in gambling money, and she know he still is gambling. I wondering if Victor will find out who caused the plane Nick was traveling in to crash. Could it been David or Adam?. Since we now know David has ties to the mob. Adam is no Saint either just the fact that he has a girlfriend that is a high roller. Will Jack be blamed for Sabrina death because of the article. CAn Amber have babies let hope she become pregnant and don't know her baby daddy is.

I hate to see him leave, he's a great actor and I LOVE his drama on the show. If he does leave, PLEASE bring him back very soon. Like a big shock, let him do crazier things than he already has!!!

I dont think I have seen the soap deal with post partum depression as yet,maybe this is what the soap will be addressing with Vikky,viewers need to know this happen sometimes after a bith of a child.Victoria have been down in the dumps since she came out of the coma.what you all think.

im glad that david is leaving,but Vincent Irizarry was a good actor.he realy made the role of david chow his own.

now that david is going to be out of the picture it's time for the circle of love to start up again with victor and nikki
