Soaps.com has learned that Vincent Irizarry (David Chow) has confirmed on his MySpace Page that he will be leaving Y&R. Since it recently came to light that the trouble-plagued David Chow is the person responsible for the murder of Ji Min Kim, many fans have speculated that Vincent's time with the show might be coming to a close. There was no timeline provided for his exit, but sources say that David's behavior will continue to spiral out-of-control as his storyline wraps up.

Emmy-nominated Vincent, a native of Queen's, NY, joined The Young and the Restless in November of 2006, with his first scenes airing in January of 2007. His character had been involved in a romantic relationship with Carmen Mesta (Marisa Ramirez), who was soon murdered. What was originally intended as a 13-week run, has lasted until the present-time, as David became campaign manager for Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) in her bid to become Senator. David ended up falling in love with Nikki, and she with him, but David's addiction to gambling, and the criminal act he has committed in order to fund it, will seemingly be his undoing!

Soaps.com would like to wish Vincent best of luck in his future endeavors. With any luck at all, the soap veteran will turn up on another of our favorite daytime dramas very soon!

What did he gain by killing Ji Min? Amber got the money.Someone mentioned wanting Amber to leave. I think she is cute, colorful and interesting. Lily is dullsville.Is it true that Victor had a vasectomy? If so, why is he going along with the pregnanvy of Sabrina?

I wouldn't mind if Vincent came back to GL. They need some more spauldings to lighten them up. Lujack would do it. I also would like to see Marj back. That with Vincent would be like a mother son reunion.

The article reads "joined in Novemebr 2006 with his first scenes airing in January 2007", dmarex. They tape shows roughly 8 weeks before they broadcast.

It's about time the crook -and I do mean crook left the show!!! Maybe you should let Victor kill him so he never comes back again. He took Nikki from her one and only true love, just so he could scam her billions and billions of dollars. I do hope Nikki can finally find some one she can truly be happy with!!!

Glad to see him go! I don't know how much more of his wishy washy pansy act I could stomach! He just seemed so wimpy compared to Victor it was a joke every time he tried to stand up to Victor. Can we PLEASE see Victor give him a one punch KO before he goes? I'm sure lots of fans agree. Or better yet, have Nikki knock him out with one punch.

I'm not sorry to see him go.
His character always seemed sleazy and unrefined and IMO, he & Nikki NEVER seemed to have the old-time-related-thing called CHEMISTRY.
