Soaps.com readers, fantastic news! The Young and the Restless has received a nomination for Outstanding Drama Series! The Young and the Restless also boasts two nominees in the Outstanding Lead Actor category, both Peter Bergman (Jack Abbott) and Christian LeBlanc (Michael Baldwin), as well as two nominees in the Lead Actress category, Jeanne Cooper (Katherine Chancellor) and Michelle Stafford (Phyllis Newman)!

But wait! That's not all! The Young and the Restless also has a duo of Outstanding Supporting Actor nominees, Greg Rikaart (Kevin Fisher) and Kristoff St. John (Neil Winters), and one Outstanding Supporting Actress nominee, Tracy E. Bregman (Lauren Fenmore Baldwin)!

Bryton McClure nabbed a nomination in the Outstanding Younger Actor category, and three actresses from The Young and the Restless, Vail Bloom (Heather), Emily O'Brien (Jana), and Tammin Sursok (Colleen) were all nominated in the Outstanding Younger Actress category!

WOW congrats to all the nominees as well as Y&R as a whole!!! I can't wait to find out how many Emmys they take home on June 20th!!

I am keeping my eye on those ounger actor/actresses!There is a lot of outstanding new blood on the soaps these days!

Nick and Sharon definately need to get back together. Summer need to be Jack's daughter. Nick owe it to Sharon to love her and grieve Cassie (together) with her. Sharon and NIck looks better together than Nick and Phyllis. During the time of his memory loss, I loved the way he looked at her and expressed his feelings for her. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE put them back together. That would be GREAT!

What a treat to see Jeanne Cooper nominated! Go Mrs. C! I love Michelle Stafford and she's also deserving of the nom and the award, but Jeanne is a legend! I'd love to see her get it!

Go Jack! Go Micheal! Go Kevin! When is Jack's son from Diane coming to the show? They need to work him into Sharon's and Jack's life. Also Jack and Sharon needs to have a baby! Kevin is a doll!

I CANT BELIEVE THAT Peter Bergman (Jack Abbott) Michelle Stafford (Phyllis Newman)! Got Nominated those are my favourite actors and there is one more actors it is Sharon Newman Abbott and so is Nick Newman.

I love these actors and they are:Phyllis,Nick, Sharon and Jack!!!!!!!!!!

Our show Y & R, has reigned supreme once again at The Daytime Emmys!
Go Y & R!
This has rocked from 1973-2008= 35 wonderful [biayatch slapping knockdown rip raoring dragouts with Jill and Kay] still at the helm of it all!
Oh how sweet it is to be a fan still for such along time! Thanks to the staff and actors for giving us tv fan viewers something to see and talk about each and everyday at cbs, soaps.com.
Keep it up Y & R, knock'em dead next year too!
