The Young and the Restless - NEWS ROOM

Soaps.com has learned that the mother of the infamous socialite Paris Hilton, Kathy Hilton, has just taped an episode of The Young and the Restless, which will air on May 13th, 2008! Kathy will play herself in the guest spot, and will interact with the gang at Restless Style at a photo shoot!

Here's how she'll fit into the story. Apparently, Kathy is a close friend of Y&R's Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). She is able to help him find a magazine cover model, but when she proceeds to take over the photo shoot, she causes controversy among the rest of the fabulous four!

Of course, the Hilton's are no strangers to television. Kathy had her very own reality show back in 2005, entitled, "I Want To Be a Hilton", which saw contestants competing for the chance to be accepted into the Hilton fold and live in the lap of luxury for a year. Her daughter Paris has starred in the reality series "The Simple Life" with BFF/Frenemy Nicole Richie, which led to a succession of sequels.
