Y&R Songs 2007

Along with the excellent acting and dramatic storylines, something that stands out to fans about The Young and the Restless are the songs that accompany certain scenes. At Soaps.com we see a lot of interest in song titles, artist names, and availability of the music featured on the show. We are pleased to share with you below, some of the songs that have touched us on the Y&R this year, along with any additional information we were able to find about them! Enjoy!

The song played on May 31st back when Sharon and Noah moved in with Jack was "Sunshine" by Michael Kisur. Also on this episode was a collaboration with Edgard Jaude, entitled "Sweeter Life".

On June 22nd, back when Cane and Amber were happily together, the song played was "Peace" by Michael Kisur.

During a scene with Nick and Sharon after he has returned from the dead on June 28th, the song used was entitled "Alive" by Michael Kisur.

"I'll Take Your Love With Me" by Michael Kisur was played during a scene with Phyllis and Nick on August 15th. Also used on this episode was the instrumental and vocal versions of Michael's "Beautiful Life".

On August 21st and 28th, another Michael Kisur tune entitled "Once You Love Somebody" was featured on the show. On August 21st, Nick and Phyllis danced to it!

As Kevin visited Jana in prison of September 25th, the instrumental version of Michael Kisur's "Killing Kind" was played.

On October 2nd, during a dinner party scene with Brad, Colleen and Adrian, the instrumental version of "Untouchable", by Michael Kisur, was playing.

On October 5th, the song playing while Cane gazed at a CD that Lily had given him, was called "Somebody's Me", by Enrique Iglesias.

The song that J.T. played to Victoria as she lay in a coma on October 26th, and at the end of the November 20th episode, was entitled "Forever". It was composed by Jack Alloco and David Kurtz, and was performed by Scott Bennett. It has not currently been released for purchase or download, but you can visit Scott Bennett's website by clicking on his name.
