Take the DNA Challenge!

Amber comes into Crimson Lights and runs into Daniel. Awkwardness ensues. Amber tries to place an order with Colleen who ignores her and asks Daniel what he'd like. Cane and Lily approach and they all discuss Sabrina's sudden death and how creepy David turned out to be. Chloe comes running in and Cane rolls his eyes. She asks Daniel to sit down with her and do some magazine stuff, and proceeds to make a show about having morning sickness to ensure that everyone knows she is pregnant. The group dissolves into a snarky jab-fest. As Chloe goes to sit with Daniel, Kevin confides in Amber that Daniel isn't very happy with his decision not to be with her - he sure isn't sleeping well! Jana wanders over and talks to Amber about planning Sabrina's funeral. As they look across the room at Daniel, Amber remarks that it seems he'll never be able to forgive her. Daniel suddenly gets up from the table - he is frustrated with Chloe's inability to focus - and walks over to where Lily is sitting by herself. "Want some company?" He sits and Lily asks about he and Amber. She asks if he is still in love with her. His silence confirms that he is. She tries to reassure him by reminding him that you do get over the pain - they did. She tells him though, that if he can't get over Amber - maybe he shouldn't! Cane heads back to the table, but Chloe jumps in his path, telling him that Lily ripped up an ultrasound photo of their unborn baby. She claims this is proof that Lily suspects it's his child - otherwise she wouldn't be so upset. Cane goes and sits down with Lily and they have a tense discussion. Colleen comes over and asks if they want her to kick Chloe out. Lily says not to bother. Devon enters and Chloe intercepts him. She makes sure he knows that she is carrying Cane's baby. Nearby, Jana, still grieving Sabrina's sudden death, whispers to Daniel that he shouldn't waste any time if he loves Amber - he may not have as much time as he thinks! Daniel looks over at Amber and ponders. Lily suddenly gets up from her seat and approaches Chloe. She proposes that if she is really carrying Cane's child, then she won't mind taking a DNA test to prove it! Devon and Cane get into the conversation and they all issue the DNA challenge to Chloe!

Adrian heads into Crimson Lights and sits down with Amber at the counter. He tells her all about how bummed he is about the 'hack job' with his name on it written about Sabrina. She says he could always go back to teaching if he is disillusioned. He tells her he has decided to leave town. He expresses appreciation for her friendship, and they share a quick hug. Colleen makes a beeline for Daniel's table and as they watch the hug, she asks him on a date. He agrees.

Spit in Their eye.

At Crimson lights, Jana reads the article on Sabrina aloud and is shocked. Kevin, Colleen and the others are amazed by how trashy is sounds. Colleen thinks Adrian would never write anything like this. Daniel says otherwise.

Amber walks into Crimson Lights for a caramel cappuccino. Daniel runs up to her and tells her that Adrian just trashed Sabrina. "That guy is one piece of work," he says, rubbing it in. Meanwhile, Colleen insists to her father that the article doesn't seem like something Adrian would write. Brad is sure it's exactly the kind of things he would do. He's also sure that there are some very outraged people out there right now.

Whole Lotta' Shakin' Goin' On!

At Crimson Lights, Brad arrives and questions Colleen as to why she didn't come home last night - or at least call. Colleen snaps at him that she doesn't want to have to call. "Dad, this isn't going to work!"

Checkmate!

In the apartment, Lily thanks everyone for the surprise party. She tells them that Chloe remembered her birthday and got her a really great gift. "She'll be cool." Just then the door opens and Devon is stunned to see his Aunt Tyra and cousin Ana have arrived! Devon introduces them to Lily and Ana breathes, "You're so pretty!" Devon asks his Aunt how she found him, and she tells him that his mother told her where he was living. Devon asks if they are on vacation, but Tyra deflects, saying that she just thought Ana should have the opportunity to get to know her only cousin. He offers to get them a hotel room and Tyra accepts but looks distinctly uncomfortable. In the corner, Colleen warns Chloe to act like a guest, and also tells her to stay out of the beer. "I hear how friendly you get when you drink!" Lily begins to open her gifts - Cane gives her a plane ticket to join him in Cabo! As they kiss, Chloe rolls her eyes. As Cane and Lily gush in the corner, Ana asks her mother where they are going to sleep that night. Tyra tells her she will figure something out. Chloe approaches Cane and Lily, and warns her to stay out of the sun in Cabo - it will make her look old! As the cake comes out, Devon's cousin blows everyone away by singing Lily a birthday song in an amazing voice! Roxanne asks Devon how he feels about his relatives turning up. He says he's happy they're there, but it is weird! In the kitchen, Cane chats with Tyra, who says she wishes she'd been a better Aunt to Devon. Cane notes that his luck changed when he came to Genoa City, and now he's done something for her - he's paid for her hotel room. She thanks him and he asks her not to say anything. Devon, meanwhile, gets on the phone and says, "Can you get over to the house right away? I've got a big surprise for you!"

One Way Ticket Out of Town!

At the coffee house, Cane relays to Colleen that everything is a go. He tells her that she doesn't need to worry about Chloe turning up - they're on the outs! Just then, Adrian approaches Colleen and they make awkward small-talk before parting ways. Chloe then tries once again to get information (or an invite) out of Cane, but he is not forthcoming. Adam comes into the coffee house. He meets with Karen on Victor's behalf. She tells him that she wants her old job back and he surprises her by telling her that that might be a problem! "How do we know you're not going to quit on us again?" She gives him her word that she won't leave again. He agrees to have her come back - on probation though! Over at the counter, Jana and Kevin look at the laptop and Jana suggests that they both wear red at their wedding. Kevin rolls his eyes and says, "Why don't we just elope?!"

At Lily and Devon's apartment, Colleen and Cane prepare for the surprise party and chat a little about her and Adrian and the age difference. Cane says it hasn't been an issue for them. Roxanne arrives to help out and Devon comes back in, telling them that Neil is stalling Lily and she is clueless as to what is going on! When Lily finally comes through the door, they all yell 'surprise', but the smiles turn to frowns as they see that Chloe has tagged along!

Welcome, Reed Hellstrom!

As Colleen arrives at the NICU, J.T. is watching the baby and tells her that he is the dad! She has tears of disappointment in her eyes as she congratulates him and tells him he'll be a great father. He says he'll take the baby back to the loft once he's released from the hospital...Across town at Newman, Brad arrives to find Sharon waiting with a big hug for her disappointed friend. Later, Sharon is trying to get Brad's opinion on some work issues, but he is down in the dumps. She urges him to talk about it. He tells her that when he lost his unborn son in the car accident, he was devastated, so he really wanted this child to be his! He feels like he fought for this baby and has now lost him. He shakes his head and says, "You know what? The fact is, I did it to myself - my son only existed in my mind!" He says it's all ridiculous - he prides himself on being a realist! He recounts to Sharon a story about his father's plan to take Brad on a baseball trip, but of course, he died before they could take it. He says he was going to take that trip with his son. Sharon is glad he is talking to her about this.

Superstitions

Outside the hospital room, Brad asserts the fact that it could be his baby, and he should have a say in the decision. Victor tells him it's his and Nikki's decision only. When Brad argues. Victor asks him what he would do if it were Colleen in there, "Would you let her die?" Brad moves away to speak to Colleen. He tells her that Victor and Nikki can't agree. He confides that if it were her in the bed, he'd make the same decision as Victor. He tells Colleen that he still loves Victoria and that he believes in his heart that she would want the baby to live - but what he thinks doesn't matter. J.T. comes out of the room and Nick asks him what he thinks. J.T. just wants to save Victoria - they can try for another baby! Any option is better than losing her! Nick says everybody has an opinion, but nobody knows what Victoria would really want! Nikki encounters Brad. He tells Nikki he agrees with her - Victoria would never allow anyone to terminate her pregnancy! Nick goes in to see Victoria. He begs her to wake up and tell him what she wants!
