PATTY WILLIAMS'S HISTORY
When Patty came to town as Mary Jane, not much was known about her. Victor brought her to town and had paid for her to have plastic surgery. She got a job at Jabot to get close to Jack Abbott, and was conspiring with Victor to exact revenge on Jack. Mary Jane became increasingly mentally disturbed and eventually it was revealed that she is Patty Williams.
Patty Williams is Paul's sister, and once was married to Jack Abbott. She lost their baby after catching him 'in the act' with Diane Jenkins in his office! Later, she heard him confess that he had only married her to get in his father's good graces and become CEO of Jabot. She confronted him and threatened to kill herself, but he convinced her to shoot him instead - she did, three times, and wound up leaving town to go to a mental facility. She briefly dated Danny Romalotti as well, but never came back to Genoa City until Victor brought her back as Mary Jane.
Patty hid out after she poisoned Summer Newman when she thought Phyllis was getting too close to Jack. She revealed her true identity to her brother Paul, and told him why she came back - to win back Jack Abbott. Patty was kidnapped by Gloria and Jeffrey from under Paul's nose, and held for ransom in the Abbott cabin. When Colleen showed up there Patty took her hostage. In an ensuing confrontation with Jack and Victor, Patty shot Victor. She turned herself in, and is currently in a mental facility.

Friday, November 20 2009: Worshiping the Ground She Waddles On!
Paul is with Patty in her room. They look at photos and discuss old memories. Emily comes in to check on Patty. Paul tells Emily that it's been a good visit - she hasn't mentioned Jack or made any threats. Patty finds a picture of herself and remarks that she looks like a bride. Patty shows them some cut-outs she made, and indicates the child safety scissors. She says there are a lot of dangerous people in there. Emily asks if she thinks she's dangerous? Patty laughs - she could never hurt anyone! Emily tells Paul that Patty is blocking out the fact that she's hurt people. Paul feels they're making progress. Emily has to go, so Paul walks her outside the door. Patty pulls out a drawing of her and Jack and says, "Don't worry, Jack. They want to take you away, but I won't let them." Paul comes to give Patty a hug goodbye. After he leaves, she starts drawing her bridal bouquet. She takes a cut-out of Jack and mangles the eyes with her scissors, and saying the last time they were together he wasn't a very good boy!

Phyllis goes into Patty's room and asks her why she called her husband. Confused, Patty tells her she had the nurse call Diane's husband. Suddenly, Patty realizes something, and blurts, "It was you! You tried to steal Jack! I saw you having sex!" An orderly comes in to give Patty her pills, then leaves. Phyllis tells Patty she knows she's not Diane, but Patty says she doesn't know a Phyllis! Patty says she's tired of people telling her what she knows and what she doesn't - she saw them having sex, and mentions the little blonde girl who got sick when she kissed her. Patty tells Phyllis she left her no choice but to hurt the baby - Jack was hers and she took him! Phyllis and Patty scream in each other's faces intensely. Phyllis ducks out of the room and holds her head, saying, "Because of me, because of me."
