ABBY CARLTON'S HISTORY
Abby Carlton came into this world believed to be the daughter of Brad and Ashley Carlton. Although Ashley knew otherwise, she never let on that she in fact stole Victor Newman's sperm and had herself artificially inseminated in order to get pregnant! Ironically, Victor Newman was the first to hold little Abby after having rushed Ashley to the hospital during labor!
The apple of her parent's eye, the secret of Abby's paternity came out when Ashley was struggling with breast cancer. Although Ashley didn't initially want Victor to be a part of Abby's life, there was no stopping him. Through an adjustment period, Abby became fond of visiting Victor at his ranch and took a keen interest in his horses until one day when she was bucked off a spooked stallion. With a little time, Abby got over her fall and has accepted and made room for both Daddy Victor and Daddy Brad in her life.
Abby found herself in a bit of a predicament while she was playing with her mommy's make-up and got a hold of some of the contaminated Jabot cream. Fortunately, Abby only suffered a minor burn.
Abby has lived in Hong Kong, Los Angeles, and London as Ashley has moved around for work. She recently returned to the Ranch to live with Ashley and Victor after finishing her semester of boarding school in London.

Tuesday, November 10 2009: You're It For Me!
At the Ranch, Ashley tells Abby that she is going out, and Adam won't be home until late because he's away on business. She warns Abby not to try to leave the house or the staff will call her. Ashley goes, and Abby leaves shortly afterward.
Noah and Eden meet up with Daisy and Abby at Crimson Lights. They are supposed to be studying, but Abby makes it clear she has no intention of it. When Daisy remarks on a hot boy in their school, Abby says she wants someone older and more worldly - she looks in at Ryder. The others leave for school, and Abby stays behind, smiling.
Michael arrives at the coffee house where Ryder is telling Kevin that he knows Daniel wants to get rid of him. They discuss Ryder's case - Kevin urges him to tell Michael where he was the night of the murder. Ryder doesn't want to. Abby appears and takes Ryder aside, saying they didn't get a chance to chat last time. Ryder smirks. Michael murmurs to Kevin that he shouldn't trust someone who won't even say what his alibi is - this might not be a happy ending. Kevin wonders who he could be protecting, but Michael points out that he may just be guilty! Kevin goes over to speak to Ryder, and Abby hisses at him not to interrupt. Kevin tells her Ryder's working, and she's supposed to be in school! He then asks Ryder if he's nuts - he's flirting with jailbait!
Michael meets with Ashley at the Ranch. They discuss their teenagers. Ash admits that she grounded Abby, Michael tells her that he's learned that sometimes putting your foot down doesn't work - sometimes you have to listen to them. Abby comes in and Michael leaves. Ashley asks Abby why she's not at school, and Abby says it's not a big deal. Ashley informs her that it's a very big deal, then confronts her about school. Abby doesn't want to talk to her about it, and says she doesn't even care about her mid-terms. When Ashley says she loves her, Abby is rude, and eventually leaves the room, even though Ashley orders her to come back!
Tuesday, November 03 2009: Have a Nice Night!
Abby comes downstairs at the Ranch and informs Ashley that she's not into another lecture about underage drinking. She tells her mother that she isn't going to ruin her life - she and Victor have already done that! Ash tells her to come straight home after school.
Eden and Noah are in Crimson Lights, and are joined by Abby and Daisy. An argument ensues among the girls as they bicker about Abby and Daisy using fake IDs, and whether or not having fashion sense is important. Amber comes in, and Abby tells her Daisy just got turned down for a job in the coffee house. Amber says she'll take her over and introduce her to Lauren - if she promises no more bar-crashing. Amber gives Daisy the address, and Lauren's name, and she heads out alone. Eden makes another snippy comment and Abby sneers, "You don't even know her!" Eden points out that she doesn't either!
Back at Crimson Lights, Daisy tells Amber that Lauren called - she got the job! Amber says they need to celebrate, Eden rolls her eyes, and Abby remarks that she'll have to start doing her retail therapy locally! Just then, Ashley comes in to find Abby - she informs her that they're going home - now!
