All For a Few Lousy Bucks!

Devon, Tyra, Ana and Neil joke around at Indigo as they raid Ana's Hallowe'en candy. Olivia and Karen come in and watch as they all shout and arm wrestle over the loot! As the melee breaks up, Karen and Neil sit down together. He tells her he has thought about his life, and how he has a wonderful girlfriend who he loves, and if they ever decide they want kids they can adopt. Devon sits at another table with Ana, and when he leaves, Tyra sits down. Ana asks her mother if she likes Neil the same way Karen does. Tyra gently reminds Ana that he has been good to them but he is with Karen. Olivia overhears and she comes over to talk to Tyra. They agree that Karen is lucky to have Neil, but that he is also very lucky to have Karen! Olivia and Karen talk next, and Karen tells her that she told Neil about her hysterectomy. Olivia says that if Neil told her he's committed he would mean it with his whole heart. Karen asks about Dru, and Olivia says the air around the two of them crackled. Karen looks past her to where Neil and Tyra are joking around closely. Soon the good looking police officer comes into Indigo seeking a date with Tyra. Olivia steps up to offer to sit with Ana, and Tyra accepts his invitation! Across the room with Karen, Neil watches and doesn't look pleased!

Ghosts and Goofballs!

Karen meets Olivia at Crimson Lights. Karen tells her how much it meant to her that Neil mentioned wanting to have kids with her. Olivia points out that Neil loved her enough to ask about it, then says, "How much do you love him?" They turn and look as, just then, Neil comes in and greets Ana, who is across the room dressed as a cheerleader. Tyra is there too, dressed in a blue wig. The handsome police officer that brought Ana back from the train station arrives. He flirts shamelessly with Tyra. She leaves with Ana and her friends, and Olivia also goes, saying she has work to do. Neil turns his attention to Karen. She tells him that she needs to talk to him about something - something that he deserves to know! She describes her mother's death and how difficult it was for her to go through the chemo and loss while she was in middle school. She then explains that if you are a carrier, you are 15 times more likely to get the disease. She admits that she is a carrier! She tells him that she could not bear to risk putting a child through what she went through as a girl! As Neil says they'll do more research, Karen stops him by saying that she had a hysterectomy! She cries as she says she never wanted to have cancer, or pass on the gene, but she would have loved to have had kids with him! Neil is floored! He compliments her on how strong she is, though, and assures her that he has already made a decision to be with her, and he stands by that! Karen won't accept it, however, she says he is just so nice, but he needs to really think about what he'd be giving up - she grieved already when she made her decision - now he has to make his decision. She kisses him and leaves. Neil grimaces.

They Treat You Like Dog Meat!

Inside Indigo, Neil jokes around with Tyra. Lily arrives and greets them. They are glad she's back from her trip and fill her in that Tyra and Ana will be staying. Lily describes her visit with Aunt Olivia and how she indulged in retail therapy. Karen comes in with Ana and they all give hugs. Karen takes Lily aside to talk about the trip, and Tyra points out that Karen is very good with Ana. She asks Neil, "Are you going to start a little family of your own?" Neil doesn't really respond and later, Tyra asks Karen the same thing. Colleen arrives to meet with Lily and they compare notes on being suddenly single! Billy appears and smilingly says that he is also single. Just then, Chloe and Cane show up. Neil is angry, but Lily says she's fine. Ana goes up to Cane and is puzzled that Lily didn't tell him they were back in town. Lily tries to ignore Cane's presence and chats with Colleen and Billy about the online dating scene. Billy wonders if the site is crashing with all of the men signing up to talk to her. As Neil watches Cane and Chloe, Olivia walks in! She immediately recognizes Karen. Karen explains that Olivia was her doctor back in New York. Olivia says, "So you're Neil's Karen?!" Karen nods. Neil sits down with Olivia and as they catch up, she is shocked when he tells her that Lily's ex, Cane, is sitting right over in the corner! She tells Neil that Lily isn't over him, even though she's trying to act like it. Lily, meanwhile, approaches Cane, who is apologetic about being there. Chloe catches a moment with Billy, assuring him that she is so over him. He decides that she should tell him everything there is to know about Cane and Lily. "That way, we both get what we want!"

Back at Indigo, Olivia sits with Karen who checks that her doctor/patient confidentiality still applies. Olivia says, "Of course." Karen says that's good, because Neil doesn't know, and she doesn't want him to! As Chloe talks to Billy, agreeing to help him and calling him out on his interest in Lily, Lily and Cane continue to talk. Cane warns her to be careful about hanging around his brother - he's not sure he completely trusts him. Lily tells him that who she socializes with is none of his business!

In Memory Of Dru...

At Indigo, Neil pours himself a fresh shot of whiskey just as Olivia arrives with questions, "It's just a little something to get me through the next few hours - after that, no more drinking." Neil goes on to express his worry over the daffodils not arriving on time, "Dru loved Daffodils." Just as Neil tells Olivia he talked to Malcolm, Lily, Daniel, Devon and Colleen arrive. After Neil excuses himself to check on the flowers, Olivia and Daniel briefly talk in private about Neil's drinking.

At Indigo, Olivia is the first to speak at the service. Olivia talks about Dru as a child, "When she found her voice and learned how to use it, we couldn't stop her from talking." Through tears, looking at Dru's picture, Olivia remembers, "Dru donated her bone marrow so I could live."

As everyone's leaving, Olivia goes to Neil and begs him to keep his promise about not drinking anymore. Neil lifts his glass, "Sparkling water." Colleen and Daniel worry about Lily and vow to be there for her when she falls. As Brad tells Sharon that Dru would've been proud of her today, Sharon thanks him for his support.

Still at Capricorn, Neil hugs Olivia goodbye, then instructs the kids to drive Olivia to the airport. On her way out, she takes one last look at Dru's picture, then leaves… Alone, Neil looks at Dru's picture and thinks back on years of memories with the woman he loves…

Olivia Returns To Mourn Dru

At Indigo, Neil awakes from a chair and finds a fresh pot of coffee on the bar. Although he manages to pour a cup, he changes his mind and downs a shot of whiskey. Suddenly, a voice comes from behind him, "Hello, Neil…" When Neil turns around, Olivia rushes into Neil's arms, "Lily called… My sister… is she?" Neil explains the accident and says, "Somewhere out there… She's going to be okay. Someone's going to find her." When Olivia asks about the upcoming memorial service, Neil corrects here, "It's a prayer service." Olivia looks at the cup in Neil's hand and asks, "How long have you been sober now?" Neil admits to drinking again but claims, "I'm in control and I don't want the kids to know."

Olivia steps out for a minute, and Lily rushes into Indigo - happy to have found Neil. When Olivia returns, she hugs Lily and they both look at Neil with worry when he says, "I forgot to charge my cell phone. I better call the hospital, maybe they brought Dru in during the night." Although Olivia and Lily try to get Neil to leave, he refuses. As luck would have it, Victor shows up to lend his support.
