Slow Down, Sea Biscuit!

At the hospital, Neil and Olivia speculate on why Lily would have left the hospital. Liv says they need to get in there and find out if the cancer has spread! Neil wonders where she could be. Katherine appears and they tell her what is going on. Cane and Lily come into the hospital. Neil is relieved to see her but wonders if she knows how worried they've been. She apologizes and says she'll have the surgery. Neil embraces her and looks at Cane. Olivia takes Lily to sign the papers, then returns and thanks Cane for convincing her. Neil blurts that it's not his place to be there! Cane says he's going to go. Katherine follows. Liv tells Neil he was hard on Cane - he refuses to let him off the hook for what he's done. Lily is wheeled up and asks where Cane went, Neil says he's gone. Lily goes off to surgery.

In the hospital waiting area, Neil looks up as Olivia comes in. He gasps at the expression on her face, saying, "The cancer, it spread, didn't it?" Liv cries and says, "We had to remove everything." They embrace.

It's Going To Blow Up in Your Face!

Olivia joins Lily in her room. She tells Lily, Neil, and Devon that she pulled some strings to get a leading oncologist to come to GC! She gives Lily the papers to sign, but Lily refuses to sign them! She insists that she needs to harvest her eggs first, but Liv tells her that could make the cancer worse! Neil and Devon try to reason with Lily, but she will not change her mind! Devon tells Lily she can adopt - look at him! Liv says the doctor will only be in town one day. Neil presses her to reconsider. When they leave the room, Lily gets out of bed and sneaks out with her things!

At the hospital, Tyra asks Neil and Olivia how Lily is doing. They tell her about the situation. Tyra says she'll go talk to her. She goes in, then hollers, "She's not here!" They look all over and Liv exclaims that they have to find her soon - this really is a matter of life and death!

You're Sure Packing Some Spark There!

Out in the hospital waiting area, Neil tells Devon that once Lily is in the clear, he's going to take his family on vacation! Olivia, who is sitting nearby, gets a call saying Lily's results are in! She rushes off to get them, and Devon and Neil reassure themselves. Suddenly, Olivia returns, and the look on her face isn't encouraging!

Neil sits with Olivia out in the hospital waiting area. He mentions Dru, and breaks down at the thought of losing Lily.

Nice To Meet You, Sir!

Liv comes into Lily's hospital room and explains that she has a mass on her ovary. Neil walks in, and Lily says, "That's why you called my dad, isn't it? Because something is really wrong with me!" Liv says they first have to do a biopsy - and hope that it's nothing! Lily says she feels fine. Devon points out that she hasn't been sleeping well. Liv interrupts and says that her white blood cell count is elevated - meaning it could be malignant. Lily starts to panic - after all, cancer runs in the family. Neil tells her not to start thinking the worst, but Liv admits, it's a good possibility, and if she has cancer they'll pursue the best course of action. Liv goes to set up the biopsy, and Devon jokes that Lily lucked out having an aunt on staff! Neil goes to look after paperwork. Devon wonders if there's anything he can get her - she says, "Cane. I want my husband."

Neil corners Olivia out in the hospital corridor and asks about the worst-case scenario. Olivia says that if it's malignant - it's not good - the survival rate is only about 45%. Neil digests the information, as Liv assures him that they'll fight it aggressively. She points out that Lily's mental well-being is paramount right now. Liv mentions Cane, but Neil is obstinate - he won't be calling that guy! He goes in to see Lily, and Devon announces that he asked what she wanted and she said Cane. Neil wants her to forget about him. She says he's still her husband. Devon sides with Neil.

Devon and Neil talk about Lily in the hospital hallway. Devon is worried about what she may have to go through. Neil says they'll fight together. Devon says that Cane is her family too - letting him leave may not be the best thing for Lily. Neil forbids Devon to contact Cane, saying, "Good riddance." They go back into the room with Liv, and Lily is put under for her biopsy.

It's All a Lie!

At the hospital, Olivia tells Katherine, Jill, and Murphy that Kay has had another mini-stroke. Katherine says she doesn't feel all that ill. They fill Liv in on Cane's deception, and she blurts, "Oh my God! Lily!" After Liv leaves the room, Jill and Kay marvel at the appearance of Phillip. Katherine becomes agitated, yelling, "He's been dead for twenty years?!" Murphy spots Phillip hovering outside, and steps out to tell him not to go in the room - he's got a lot to answer for. Murphy calls Nina and tells her to get down there.
