TYRA HAMILTON'S HISTORY
Tyra is a single mother who lost her job, so came looking to start a new life in Genoa City where her nephew, Devon Winters is living.
She brought her daughter Ana with her to town, and the two were invited to stay at Neil Winter's place. He also offered Tyra a job as Manager of Indigo.
Soon, it came out that Ana was actually Yolanda's daughter, and Devon's sister, and that Tyra was raising her as her own.
Katherine Chancellor offered Ana a scholarship to an art school in New Hampshire after hearing her sing at the Charity Gala. Tyra took Ana to attend the school, but they disappeared.

Monday, August 17 2009: Time Machine!
Tyra arrives at Neil's house, just as Devon has finished thanking Neil for not telling Lily about his indiscretion. Tyra looks at both of them and realizes that Devon told Neil what happened. Neil tells Devon he needs to speak to her alone. Tyra says to Neil that there is no excuse for what she did. Neil says that he just watched Lily walk out the door with someone who broke her heart - and he did the same thing to Karen - so he could be with her! Neil says there is no one to blame for all of this - for his family falling apart - except him! Tyra briefly wonders if there could be a chance for them, but Neil says he needs to focus on Lily right now. Tyra says that her and Ana are going to leave and spend some time with Aunt Virginia. When she goes to the back to get some of her things, Neil gazes at a photo of him, Lily, and Dru. Tyra comes back in and reassures Neil that he will rebuild his family - he's a good man. She leaves, and Neil shakes his head, looking sad.
Friday, August 14 2009: Revenge is Never Worth the Price!
Tyra comes downstairs, where Devon is waiting to talk. She says she's not ready to discuss what happened between them - she wishes it hadn't happened! There is a knock at the door. Roxanne storms in with a box of Devon's stuff. She throws it on the sofa, and holds up his key, saying it's the one she let herself in with last night - but he didn't notice because he was too busy! Tyra looks horrified, and tells Roxy she is so sorry. Devon tells her it was the only time this ever happened. Tyra slinks off upstairs, and Roxanne asks Devon if he thinks sorry is going to cut it? She wonders if he did this to get back at his dad, then tells him she doesn't know him - and doesn't want to! After she slams out the door, Tyra reappears and tells Devon she'll go stay in a hotel. She wonders if Roxy will ever forgive Devon, and if she'll tell Neil. Devon says he has to tell Neil. Tyra thinks it's a bad idea considering what is going on with Lily.
