KEVIN FISHER'S HISTORY
In 2003, Kevin Fisher was introduced as the timid bookkeeper for Bobby Marsino's nightclub. Kevin had an eye for naive young girls and found a victim in Lily Winters. Kevin later went on to pressure Lily into having sex and ended up giving her a sexually transmitted disease. Kevin gained a lot of enemies during this time, including JT Hellstrom, Lily's family and especially Colleen Carlton.
Colleen made Kevin so furious with all of her 'disapproving' words toward him that he locked her in a cooler at Gina's restaurant and started the place on fire! Although Kevin was never found guilty of the crime, Colleen was rescued and still blames him to this day! Kevin also ended up losing his job at Marsino's after he was accused of electrocuting Brittany Hodges during one of her performances.
Knowing he needed help getting back on his feet with the people in Genoa City, Kevin turned to his brother Michael Baldwin. Although Michael wasn't at all happy to see Kevin, he soon gave his brother the benefit of the doubt and stood by him in his time of need. After all, Michael had witnessed first hand the abuse Kevin endured as a child at the hands of his stepfather Tom Fisher.
Kevin soon found himself obsessed with Lauren Fenmore and ended up admitting to her all that he had done in GC. Fearing that Lauren would tell his secrets, Kevin took off for Detroit and stayed with his mother Gloria until the police came looking for him. When Michael found out, he made a deal with the GC police and brought Kevin home. Gloria followed. Kevin ended up spending a few days in jail and found himself almost beaten to death by some of his fellow cellmates.
After he was exonerated, Kevin and Gloria moved in with Michael and drove him nuts at every turn! Although Kevin was hurt, jealous and furious that Michael had fallen for Lauren, Kevin soon accepted their relationship and started concentrating on getting his own life back. Gloria and John Abbott got married and shortly after, so did Michael and Lauren.
With the help of Daniel Romalotti, Kevin Fisher plotted with a boy named Alex to help Kevin once again look good in the eyes of Lily Winters. When Alex drugged Lily's orange juice and tried to rape her in the Rec Center elevator, to everyone's surprise, Kevin Fisher saved her and regained some respect within the community. Although Alex tried to blackmail Kevin, with the help of his mother, Kevin was able to get rid of Alex for good!
Kevin finally got his life back after finding a true friend in Mackenzie Browning. After the two bought the Crimson Lights Coffeehouse from Nick and Sharon Newman, Kevin thought his life was finally moving toward the better. However, Kevin was face to deal with his past when his stepfather reemerged. Through a series of events, Tom Fisher tried to ruin his life again, but Kevin ended up standing strong and John Abbott later killed Tom.
Although the Abbotts still blame Kevin and his mother Gloria for John's death, Kevin has managed to stay on the straight and narrow, but that's not to say that he hasn't broken the law to get dirt on those who have crossed him and his family! Now married to Jana Hawkes, Kevin hopes for a promising future!

Friday, November 21 2008: Bookstore Bungle!
Still at the counter, Amber points out to Daniel that all signs point to Kevin being up to something - he was complaining about being broke and now he's buying a car! Just then, Gloria and Jeff walk into the coffeehouse and Gloria marches up to her son, telling him that thanks to him, she's now got everything she ever wanted! Amber becomes very upset, hissing at Daniel that there obviously was a conspiracy! Daniel tries to tell her otherwise - that Kevin had nothing to do with Katherine's accident! Gloria and Jeff sit down with Kevin and fill him in on the upturn in fortunes. She tells him he'll be rewarded with lots of zeros! After Kevin leaves the table, Jeff warns Gloria not to try and cut him out of the action! Jana comes back and notices that Kevin is sporting a 'knowing' smile. He denies that anything is up, but Amber walks over and points out to Jana that Gloria is awfully happy too - and she says it was all due to Kevin's help! Jana looks uncomfortably at her in-laws. Kevin heads out onto the patio with his laptop and Daniel follows to question him about how he can suddenly afford a new vehicle. Kevin says he's merely using credit, but Daniel presses him. Kevin says he's offended, and Daniel apologizes. Jana then speaks to Kevin, asking him what's going on. He tells her that Gloria is just grateful for the help he gave Katherine on her computer. Jana again warns that she doesn't want the things that money can buy, but Kevin says he wants to give her the world. Daniel goes back to Amber and says she needs to chill out about Kevin and money, but she follows Kevin when he meets the guy selling the vehicle!
Tuesday, November 18 2008: I've Been Expecting You!
Kevin and Jana arrive at the reception and are greeted by Amber and Daniel. They say they wish they hadn't missed the funeral, but they had to deal with the flood. After they move away, Amber tells Daniel that she thinks Kevin really missed the service because he felt guilty about something! Michael and Lauren are nearby, and he says he is surprised that the Newmans came here instead of going to look for Victor. He tells Lauren he'd better go, and lets her know not to wait up!
Danny tells Gina that her food is terrific and Amber and Daniel agree. Nina strolls over and says she used to live on it! She mentions how shocked she was that Gina's restaurant burned down. Amber asks where Nina lives, and she says she is a screenwriter in L.A. Danny and Amber toot Daniel's horn by sharing with Nina that he's a talented artist. They all discuss Philip being in the army, and Gina hugs Nina. Next to them, Jill stands with Liz, and they thank Jana and Kevin for stopping by. Liz then tells Jill that she's so glad that she told Jill the truth, and that she and Katherine had time together.
