Billy shows up at Newman Enterprises and runs into Ashley on her way out. She is stunned that he is showing his face there. He defends his position, saying he only presented facts in his article. She warns she'll never help him again - she doesn't know what's happened to him! Billy goes in to see Nick, and Victoria comes in - she's there to tie up some loose ends. She tells Billy that his piece about her pushed her in the right direction at least - but she doubts it will turn out as good for him! Nick and Vikki joke about Billy only being good enough to write gossip. Nick shows Billy out after telling him that Newman is pulling all their ads. Once alone, Victoria reiterates to her brother that she's not coming back - working for her father and being married to JT don't go together. They discuss what Nick should do about the current situation, and Nick proposes a solution. Vikki says she thinks daddy's portrait just frowned! Nick smiles and says Newman needs her. Victoria says it's not true, and maybe it's time for new leadership anyway. Nick smirks, saying she just called dad a dinosaur. They hug.
Get Out of Jail Free Card!
Victoria turns up at Jimmy's and stalks straight over to Billy. She taps his shoulder then belts him across the mouth. Kevin is impressed! Billy is forced to tell Mackenzie that Victoria hit him because he wrote an article about her personal life. Mac is disappointed. Amber and Daniel show up and they all start laying into Billy about the article on Victoria and Deacon. Billy tries to get Mac to help him out, but she says he's on his own.
Victoria gets back to Newman Enterprises and asks her assistant about JT. The woman says he's gone but hands her an envelope he left for her. Victoria reads the letter, which says he's gone to New York to take the job, and notes that he's not sure their marriage can be saved - or that she's even interested in saving it!
At the Ranch, Victor and Nikki continue to prepare to leave town. She reassures Victor that the kids will look after Newman, and that he needs to focus on his rehabilitation. Victor smolders about getting back at Jack Abbott. Victoria arrives and tells her father that she feels she should resign from Newman under the circumstances. Nikki says she may need to focus on her family right now. Victor embraces her and says she should do what she has to do.
Victoria catches up with JT in the airport. They embrace and kiss and vow to make things right.
You Ain't Seen Nothin' Yet!
Nikki and Victoria are at Newman. Victoria says how romantic it is that she and Victor are running off together. Nikki asks about Victoria and JT. Victoria tells her mother that she cheated on JT, and says it was a horrible, awful mistake. Vikki admits that JT knows, and he even hit him at a press conference - the whole world could find out! Nikki asks what JT has said, and Vikki admits she's avoided talking to him about it. Nikki feels they need to work through it together - she urges her to face this head on! Just then, JT appears.
Nikki leaves the office at Newman, and Victoria tells JT they should talk about their relationship - and Deacon. JT thinks he showed up at Newman because he wants her. Vikki disagrees. JT asks if she did it because he kissed Colleen. She doesn't know, but asks if he wants to work things out. Suddenly, Deacon walks in. He shows them the piece that Billy wrote. JT accuses him of selling Vikki out. Deacon says Billy took what he had and ran with it! Deacon and Victoria both leave, and JT writes Vikki a note, saying he's taking the job in New York.
Abby, dressed in a costume, meets up with a girl named Daisy, who gives her tips on getting into the Halloween party at Jimmy's with her fake ID - they go up to the door and are admitted! They go inside just in time to see Victoria stride up behind Billy and deck him!
Family Above All.
At Newman, Victoria is on the phone saying she has no comment on the SCC investigation. Adam comes into her office and offers to lighten her load while she handles the SCC stuff - Victor said he should take on more responsibilities. She tells him to analyze sales in all 50 states - and even visit them!
Nick is back at Newman, in the meeting room with Victoria and Adam. Nick talks about Billy, and Adam says he understands why he lashed out. Nick says, "I bet you do!" Adam says Billy will find out that it will come back to bite him. He leaves the room, and Victoria and Nick discuss the melee with Deacon and JT. She doesn't want to tell him what it's all about.
