To Me, That's Not What It Is!

Billy and Ashley discuss his break up with Mac in the coffee house. She tells him when you can be yourself without holding your breath and worrying about the reaction you'll get - that's when you've found your soulmate. Billy jokes at her seriousness, and they discuss Thanksgiving. Billy says he'll just work.

Ashley arrives home to find Adam alone with the baby. He explains about the nanny's father having a heart attack. Ashley asks about his date - he says she understood. He then muses that it's maybe too early to be back out there anyway. Ashley urges him to give himself a chance. Ashley goes up to see to the baby, and Adam calls for the car to come around. Upstairs, the baby is fussy, and Ashley wonders what's wrong with her.

Jack drops in on Ashley at the Ranch. He looks at Faith sleeping, and Ash asks if he is there about the Chancellor stock again. He says he's glad she is investing, but he won't be buying any stock. He wants to talk about Thanksgiving - things aren't what they should be with the family. He calls Billy and makes arrangements for a Thanksgiving meal.

Worshiping the Ground She Waddles On!

At the Ranch, Adam fusses over what to wear and asks Ashley's advice. She realizes he wants to impress someone. Just then, Sharon calls him - she says she made reservations for them, but Adam thought they were going to meet at her house. Sharon says it's time for him to come out of hiding. Jack arrives and trades a barb with Adam, before asking Ashley again about the Chancellor stock. Ashley says she will be investing in it - she just won't be doing it with him! They argue as she tries to explain her reasons, and Jack pushes about Jabot being their legacy. Ashley says he's done too many things she disapproves of - he needs to accept this! Jack leaves, and Adam asks Ashley about the project she mentioned to him. She says she still can't tell him any details. She wonders who he's seeing tonight. He keeps mum.

Ashley meets with Billy on the patio at the coffee house. He says he asked her to come to talk about Mac - she doesn't want to be with him anymore. He explains about the surrogacy, and Ashley says the baby would be Cane and Lily's - besides, as far as she understands, this was just the last straw. Ashley tells Billy that she's had her eyes opened with Victor. Billy doesn't want to have his eyes opened to life without Mac.

The Sharks Are Circling!

At the Club, Adam and Sharon discuss whether or not they should be seen together. Sharon says she doesn't care what people think, and asks him to meet her there later for dinner. Ashley appears, and Sharon asks her how the baby is - Adam looks uncomfortable. Ashley says the baby is coming over with the nanny and invites Sharon to stay to see her. Adam prompts her that she has an appointment. Sharon wants to reschedule, but Adam talks her out of it, and she leaves. Adam then tells Ash he'd better get over to Newman - Nick probably has some wastebaskets for him to empty.

Neil and Katherine sit down at a table in the Club and discuss how exited they are about the buzz surrounding the stock. Ashley passes Jack's table and refuses to join him, saying it's been a busy and productive day. Jill and Paul arrive and ask if they can join Katherine and Neil!

Dog and Pony Show!

At the Ranch, Adam and Ashley discuss Abby. He offers to help anyway he can. Ashley thanks him, then asks if she can talk to him for a moment - about business. Adam wonders if it's Newman business, but Ash says it's actually something entirely different. She says she has a new project or deal in the works, and that if it pans out, she's hoping it will be something they can work on together.

Ashley greets Neil at work, asking how life is for him running Chancellor Industries. Neil raves about it, but does mention the challenges. Ashley probes, and Neil narrows his eyes, asking if there is something specific he can help her with? She asks about Jabot marketing numbers. He says he could have emailed those. Katherine comes in, and speaks with Ashley briefly, before Jack appears. He asks Ash what she's doing there? She says she just missed Jabot. Neil says she wanted to see the new marketing plan. Ashley makes her exit.

At the Club, Jack offers to buy Ashley a drink. He assumes she's come over to his way of thinking, but she informs him that she still won't be partnering with him on a takeover!
